  1. Bass is now sold pending the usual dirty business, thank you to everyone for your interest
  2. Like I said, sale is preferred but I'm happy to listen to any sensible proposals. Definitely not looking to add cash to deals though.
  3. Plenty of interest, offers and discussion but nothing fixed yet. Thank you for all pm's. Sounds like the bass I'm looking at will be gone shortly though so get in now if interested. A few questions re the weight. I've checked, 9.5lbs. Believe the body is chambered.
  4. Sale is definitely preferred but let me know what you've got, you never know...
  5. Make an offer, what's the worst that can happen? Other than death, the death of your offspring, decline and demise of the planet then total heat and energy death of the universe. To be fair that's probably a bit glass half empty and getting ahead of the game...
  6. Available immediately :-) It's about 4.5 kg. Comfy with a good strap. I wear it medium height an no issues with balance.
  7. A bit of a speculative post I'm afraid, this has been my go to jazz for about 3 and half years but something else has come up. If that something disappears then this will quickly be fettled back into the stable. I've borrowed most of the spec from kdubb24s original post for this bass (hope you don't mind kdubb24). It's in very much the same excellent condition with the exception of two very small holes in the body from a midi-fit which I've tried to highlight in one of the pics. The bass will come with a used but serviceable brown leather benevente gig bag (which is very nice ). Any questions of course please let me know. Much love Abd
  8. Essential pedal. If you've got one you know what I mean. If you don't have one then buy this one. If you don't think you need one you're wrong. Glwts!
  9. Haha, hoho, merry Christmas stinkers!
  10. Now sold, thanks for all of your interest
  11. Currently I use a tecamp head which sounds great but in certain circumstances I would like to hear a bit more warmth like I used to get with my old ampeg svt 5. I don't want to switch amps, I'd really like some kind of pedal or di that I can insert before the amp to warm up a bit. I don't want loads of controls or presets, just something simply that sounds good on bg or double bass. I have been known to use "some" effects in my signal chain so these needs to factor in too. I like the idea of it doubling as a di for use with the PA or in those rarer occasions where I'm recording. The ampeg svt di looks great but sadly it seems more chance of finding unicorn tears in the desert. What do y'all think?
  12. I have a single BB2 and bought this for gigs when it was not quite enough (which is not many actually). It's brilliant but I slightly, just a teeny bit, prefer the sound of the BB2 hence looking to swap it out so I have a pair. The S12T is in excellent condition - mint apart from a small lift on one of the handle covers. In the interests of total transparancy I should point out that it was originally wired for use with GK biamp heads so no tweeter control. This was fixed with a retrofit by Alex at Barefaced, it now has the usual control and you would never know of the history had I not told you just now with these words. It looks just like you expect it would: [attachment=233825:20161001_181628.jpg] Cab is in Norwich Cheers Abd
  13. The best synth. Sounds and tracking are awesome, it is complex but you can also get some great results with minor tweaks to many of the presents. Get a midi pedal to move patches though. Glwts
  14. Very nice. Warwick made some great amps back in this period imo. Question - if set to full range and mono is this bridgeable to deliver 900W into a single 4 ohm load? It looks from your description and pics that you might need a separate 4 ohm cab on each side to utilise the full power ergo not great with a single cab solution... This said, the W lights up so I am definately interested. Lot's of groovy older amps around at the moment, I feel like a young man during spring.....
  15. Fabulous basses and a great seller. There really isn't much that the MG can't do.....
  16. The XLs are great cabs, really good. Not light but top notch. You're just too far for me but this is a great rig and really a giveaway price. Are you sure no room in the new gaff?
  17. Wow, you could seriously start (and finish) a war with that. A beguiling mix of fear and attraction.......
  18. Total filthmaker. The best £45 you will EVER spend. GLWTT
  19. Huge footprint, sensitive to PSUs, not cheap. Sounds amazing, totally worth it. GLWTS Harry
  20. Nice washing machine in the background. Is that how you get the distinctive Yamaha clean tone? ☺️
