  1. Up for sale is my moog sub phatty. It is like new, gigged a couple of times. Sounds AMAZING but too much additional gear for me and frankly I can do most of what I need with my FI and a few other pedals. The price includes the Moog gig bag, a used but functional Moog Exp pedal and if you collect you can have a keyboard stand too. If you are not collecting then price includes postage but no stand. It is mintier that a packet of polos that's just had a cold shower using that green natural source shower gel (not the lime one). Already regretting this as I can look and fiddle with this for a very long time, tis truely a thing of beauty... Photos now added: Happy New Year to all of you BC lot! Abd
  2. Excellent question. Also I'm no photographer but the pics are a bit blurred on my phone, is this close to the actual colour do you think?
  3. I've been on the fence for a while about the bass. It is an excellent, excellent, early sei. Beautiful feel and perfect at 34 scale. B is huge but defined and it's got a great tone for whatever is required be it old school, modern, upper register stuff etc. I acquired the bass in a trade always with the intention of moving it on, couldn't quite do it (and Mrs Bassdoyle is always tremendously supportive) but the reality is I have another Sei 6 which Martin made for me a couple of years ago. They are very different but 'my' bass edges it and this one is rarely played. Some of the other key features are as follows: String spacing 18mm Weighs around 10lbs, very good balance in my view Low action around 2.5mm at the 12th fret Blue side led's activated with a push/pull on the vol control Shack active circuit 3 band with dip switches in the back for different tonal options Piezo pickups in the bridge totally blendable Bartolini pickups Carbon bars in the neck Decent hiscox case included (has a crack but only cosmetic). I could probably do a gigbag instead if you would prefer. It's up for sale but really I'm looking to flip for a decent Milleresque jazz or possibly a spector 5/6 Euro. If you have something else and want to trade ideally with some cash my way this could well be cool too..... It is not a new bass to the forum, here is a previous listing: Some current shots: You'll notice one shot with a crack in the finish. This has been checked by Martin at the Gallery, it's surface only, no issues. Finally, in answer to some of the questions the bass is in Norwich. You are welcome to try if you like, or I'd be happy to travel for around an hour to handover if helpful. All the best, Abd
  4. Wowser... Can you split the emgs for single coilness?
  5. I've got a 4u version. Great bag and plenty hardcore even for the bigger amps...
  6. Really like the sound of this Harry, great bass
  7. I'm not sure about the bass but I would certainly be interested in the leopard skin rug!
  8. Yes it is and I think you're right! Will try and do some new pics ASAP.
  9. Bumping, but also want to let you know that I have a Copilot broadcast available too. The two of these together is an excellent combination, especially with some lows and/or dirt ahead of them both. If anyone is interested in the two I will sell for £200 including postage. That's some serious wubs for reasonable wedge.....
  10. Want to shift this - price drop to £80. Outstanding value for a great trem, as new, in original Moog box (which is very cool btw)
  11. Awesomeness personified. Great octave sounds, filter, and additional synth voices to blend it. Loosens bowls and brings the brown noise. Musical requirements changing etc. Get in quick!
  12. Fab synthy filter and works great with the IE Subterannea. Superb sweeps. Not much more to say! Looking for a quick sale on this, price includes UK postage.
  13. Bump, also I seem to have a) lost the broadcast pics and b) the price was wrong - it is £75
  14. The trem of trems. Or perhaps the 'trem de la trem'. Sounds truly great as most of the moog stuff does to my ears, speed is controllable with exp input which was exactly what I needed. Turns out I don't really use it though so up for grabs. Other that tastefully applied velcro to it's rearward quarters and a light dusting of, err, dust it is in mint condition and will travel inside it's original moog box on it's way to your house. Price includes UK shipping so there is absolutely nothing not to like.
  15. TOTALLY AWESOME. No way I will ever use it though... :-( Glwts
  16. Mantic Beef Bag, or sac de la boeuf if you prefer. I've never used the old meatbox but I understand this to be very similar. Really nice pedal as most of the Mantic stuff is, looks and sounds great. I should probably keep it as quite unique, I don't think the make them now, and it's the sort of thing that when you need it it really counts. We will see what happens. Price includes UK postage, no original box though I'm afraid. Buy now and prepare to loosen the bowels of bandmates and audience alike. And btw, you do need a reasonable rig for this if you are not pumping it into the PA instead, feels awesome though. [attachment=256947:20171105_114723.jpg] [attachment=256948:20171105_114731.jpg] x
  17. A lot of bass for the money, I'm just not sure I can live with the visual! Glwts
  18. Oui! But you'd have to pay the extra cost Best regards Abd
  19. Just realised again, it's still here - need this gone so £40 and it's yours! Bargin!
