1. Shame you've said this fleabag, I was seriously considering this but I won't be extorted under any circumstances. My thoughts are Jimbob and his family, damn you for putting us in this position.
2. This is one of those 'these are great but I don't want to buy it' posts I'm afraid but these are really, really cool pedals. The bit crush is an really nice alternative to more traditional dirt and the IE is killer, goes way extreme if that's your thing. The inclusion of the exp and various options to control really enhances the live use. GLWTS
3. Never really been an f bass fan but wow, amazing combination of woods. Beautiful, glwts
4. The subterranea rules. I've just finished browning the pants of 3,000 people in gt Yarmouth with mine. Deep joy (for everyone) You'll regret selling this Chris!
5. I really wasn't sure where to post this so I've hedged my bets: http://basschat.co.u...nd-accessories/ Mods please don't expel me and feel free to refine if this is out of order :-)
6. Morning all. For sale is my Moog Minitaur together with a keyboard controller, Moog exp pedal, power supplies and bags for protection/transportation. You can create some very, very PHAAATT sounds with this. So much so that audience and band mates will look at you, smile, and then foul themselves BUT KEEP ON SMILING. Seriously though imo some beautiful sounds and textures from this plus you have the usual Moog CV connections for cutoff, gate etc that really augment performance. Via the Moog editor software there are some additional parameters that you can adjust in addition to the physical controls. It's all very easy and I love the physical interface of the knobs, much better as a creative platform. There is all sorts of other clever synth/moog science that it does, full details are here: https://www.moogmusi...taurus/minitaur I don't know much about synths but I think the only drawback here is that you can't really use the minitaur as a stand-alone piece of kit. For reason I'd put it together with a keyboard controller so it can go out and be used as a bass synth on gigs. It works a treat but you obviously have some additional kit to transport. I've loved using this but the tunes I'm doing now no longer require it and I need the £s, same old BC tales! I thought the best way to sell this was as a complete set up so for clarity let me list here all the specific bits: 1) Moog Minitaur (with original box) 2) PSU for Minitaur 3) Generic camera accessory bag to house Minitaur 4) M-audio air 25 controller keyboard 5) USB cable and PSU to power M-audio - the cable will also connect the Minitaur to your PC/mac 6) Midi lead to connect air 25 to Minitaur 7) Moog exp pedal (think EP2 but will have to check), mainly I've used this on the filter cutoff but it's ok for any of the CV inputs 8) Generic extension 4 way power lead to run both 9) Generic audio cable to link audio out of Minitaur to your h'amplification device/utility 10) Protection racket drum hardware bag 28x10x16 to house the lot and take it to gigs/on holiday with you The minitaur and air25 are what I would call mint. The rest is used but in very good condition. Clearly a lot going on here and the individual price of everything runs to a reasonable amount hence my pricing which is essentially £300 for the minitaur and £100 for everything else. I don't really want to split at this stage as I have another controller keyboard but if you just want the Moog for the Studio or to integrate elsewhere there is no harm in getting in touch. The whole lot would be shipped in the pro-racket gig bag with suitable interior packing of course. I need to investigate the shipping cost but I would expect no more than £25 depending on what sort of service you wanted. Finally, I also have a quicklok stand which I use for the Air25 on gigs. This won't fit in the bag and is still useful to me so I'm not including it in the start position but if you want it let me know and we might be able to work that in somehow! If you want to check it out or collect I'm in Norwich, jewel of the East. 8. I always wanted one of these back in the day but I've been reminded that nostalgia is not always what it used to be. Very good bass which I've set up and put almost new strings onto, this has helped a lot. Surprisingly good range of sounds too via a magnetic pu and a piezo bridge. The controls and volumes for each plus what is essentially a mid-cut/BT boost 'contour' control for the mag and a treble for the piezo. The piezo is also adjustable for bass and output at the rear of the bass. Here is a link to the original Ibanez manual: http://www.ibanez.co...guitars/EDA.pdf I've not measured the string spacing but it feels relatively 'normal' to me in comparison to the normal uber-slim Ibanez necks. Straplocks were supplied to me which I've not fitted, these will be included of course. So really as a starter or spare there is not much to dislike here - other than the space-age body style and tango colour which I will concede are going to be a bit love/hate! You are welcome to try it if you can get to Norwich and I'm very happy to answer any questions of course. There is no case but I can probably sort something out here at buyers cost if required. I'd have to check what I have but probably call if £300 to include case and UK postage. The bass can be posted without a case if not but I wouldn't recommend this. 9. Yes, totally barg-central. So much so in fact it's now sold pending the usual filthy money business.....
10. Hi - feeler only. This has been essentially my practice amp now for a few years, never actually gigged it I don't think. Works great, so simple, and the onboard tuner is always a nice feature imo on any amp. Only really selling as I fancy a tube amp to go with my main class D head and if I go this way funds are required! No switch 3 for the tone print I'm afraid but I will throw in an old laptop sleeve which protects the amp nicely if you want to take it outside of the house. Pics to follow.... Price is firm btw and shipping is not included (I would imagine around £10 max). I would be interested in px on tube amps.... Cheers, Abd
11. All bargins Thunderbird - and all now sold! Thanks all for the pms.
12. I've accumulated these bits and pieces over the last few years but having started to refine what works for me they are surplus to requirements now, time for a clear out! I am open to trades/offers but have tried to price fairly so be gentle. Here we go - clockwise from top left of the picture: Gimp Fx Fat Freak distortion - totally savage distortion, OOT and immense fun £50 Digitech BSW - well known and beloved of this forum £25 Artec parametric - nice simple para EQ pedal £20 Mr Black Eterna - lovely reverb, this was my goto until I got into the TC HOF, the shimmer is a great texture £85 Subdecay Supanova Drive - good drive pedal works great with bass £45 EHX Octave multiplex - cheapo octaver but has always worked really well IMO, I would keep this other than there is no going back from the IE Subterranea! £40 Moog MuRF - not the bass/midi version - I love foogers but have never really found a home in my head for this. Channel B has a slight click when used so very cheap £40 (channel A is fine) TC Switch 3 - bought with my B250 never used - you can probably use it to switch other things on and off £20 Monkey FX Mangler - twin fx loops with level. Very flexible routing, can function as an fx blender if required.Similar to the whole LS2 thing £30 Purple (!) filter - no idea where this comes from or it's pedigree/heritage etc. What can I say, it's an ok filter, worth a punt if you're experimenting with that stuff £25 Zvex distortion - great, great, love these, nice edgy distortion £50 Sfx Slow Swtich - their stuff is very nicely put together, top quality. This is in essence a temporary or perm loop switch with attack and release, you can use it to drop fx in. This is an epic pedal if you are into switching routing. I used to use it a lot but have sacrificed it on the alter of board real estate! £60 Soundblox MWBD - never used! £50 Zvex Mastotron - phat distortion, almost sounds like it could burst at times. Sounds a bit musey to my ear. I love this, it may be withdrawn but up for now £80 EHX next step expression pedal - this is one of the rocker/accelerometer pedals. I've never really used it, prefer the feel of other pedals. £30 Oh, and by the way, if you want the lot I'll take £500! Most of these have boxes, they will be recalled from loft regions if the pedals sell so not sure exactly which do and which don't! Prices include regular UK postal postage posty. If you need to know any more just drop me a pm. I'm in Norwich and you are welcome to check out/try if helpful. Cheers Abd
13. I'm sure I used a focus 2x10 for a while a year or two back. Really good for the money I think. These look to be a bit of a bargantino and not at all tatty!
14. I bet this sounded amazing with the super twin... Glwts
15. Beautiful, not suitable for my gigs in the local pubs, but a real work of art
16. Nice quick and clean deal on a markbass mark stand. Lee was a thoroughly decent chap throughout and my cab now points at a jaunty angle! Deal with confidence!
17. New BC member, have just sold my tec M212 cab to Ben. Good communications throughout, prompt payment and a nice guy to deal with all round.
18. Up for grabs this jazz bass neck, maple with black blocks. Has the Fender logos but I don't think it's a Fender neck. Looks to have been made around 2005. Holes are drilled to fit standard jazz pocket, tunes etc. The heal has some additional holes drilled (when I got it) but this has not been a problem. Straight, truss rod seems to be ok, all good as a decent starter neck I would say. Selling as I simply want to replace with something different.
