1. Nice quick and clean deal on a markbass mark stand. Lee was a thoroughly decent chap throughout and my cab now points at a jaunty angle! Deal with confidence!
2. New BC member, have just sold my tec M212 cab to Ben. Good communications throughout, prompt payment and a nice guy to deal with all round.
3. Up for grabs this jazz bass neck, maple with black blocks. Has the Fender logos but I don't think it's a Fender neck. Looks to have been made around 2005. Holes are drilled to fit standard jazz pocket, tunes etc. The heal has some additional holes drilled (when I got it) but this has not been a problem. Straight, truss rod seems to be ok, all good as a decent starter neck I would say. Selling as I simply want to replace with something different. Hope that's helpful, price includes postage to UK. Cheers! Abd
4. I think we should all applaud the courage and fortitude of this man Sir, the forum salutes you
5. All pms replied to. I've had a few enquiries now about shipping this. It is all packed and ready to go now and Parcelforce 48+ service, including insurance to cover the purchase price runs to £44.50. If you are overseas of non-mainland etc then it might be more I guess. All I need now is your address to send it to!
6. If purchased will you use the £75 to buy or do something nice for your wife?
7. Just a bump, no change Like a large piece of long, flat, reliable wood used to stand on within a scaffold, it's a great deal!
8. I got to have a noodle on this at the weekend. Fabulous, fabulous neck and beautiful to play. Sadly not for me due to a childhood phobia of custard but someone will be very happy. Of course the Dood is a gracious gent so deal in total confidence...
9. Contract, deposit and payment upfront. Everyone knows where they stand and you don't risk getting left in the lurch if they cancel short notice or having to chase up after the event.
10. Would really like this gone soon. I'm not going to gradually chip the price down by £5 a week - £300 collected from Norwich. End of, period, finale, c'est tout, etc, lalala. Happy to entertain offers of more than £299.75 :-) Btw I've had some enquiries about shipping and/or meet ups. I will ship the cab but it will be 100% at buyers expense plus I do not currently have anything to ship it in so you would need to bear with me whilst this was all sorted out. I've no idea what the cost would be but I'm sure you can get a feel based on the cab dimensions. Regards meet ups I could be tempted to meet within around an hour of Norwich, say Thetford or Kings Lynn if you cover the petrol costs.
11. Another tec cab up for grabs. 4ohms 600W, 2x12 with variable tweeter. Like all the tec cabs very low weight - around 45-50lbs for this. Integrated handles make for a very comfy and easy lift. It's a little too big for one hand but and easy lift for a single person. Excellent cab for bass guitar - goes it all very, very well. Condition is very good. No cover but well looked after and respected! Located in Norwich, you probably need to collect this as I'm not sure I have packing for it. Stock pic for now - I will take some asap. Working away so it's not available until 10th July onwards.
12. I'm making some changes with cabs at the moment and this beaut is up for grabs. 8ohms 300W, 1x12 with variable tweeter. Also has the neat tecamp 45 degree tilt back feature which is great if you use it for monitoring or just to direct the sound up at you a little more. Weighs very little - around 25-30lbs I'd guess, can check if needed. A very, very easy one hand lift to/from the gig. In mint condition. I've used it mainly as either a double bass cab or as a rehearsal cab, works great for both. Located in Norwich, collection preferred. Shipping is possible at your cost. Stock pics for now, actual cab is identical of course.... Only other point to mention is that I'm working away so it's not available until 10th July onwards. 13. WOW Couldn't even come close to doing this justice but what a great instrument. I bet it sounds uberphat GLWTS
14.
Ahhhhh! Andy! Yes indeed a very fine machine! - Please don't let me play with that beast again! Lovely cabinet and 6x12 is quite a air shifting to behold! Buy with confidence, Andy is a top top guy! - Oh I also wanted to add, that this cabinet really doesn't feel like 35Kg - Surely it must be lighter? Dan p.s. - I must nab a pic or two as I don't think I ever photographed this cabinet when I had it!
Thanks Dan, head over and we'll take some family pics with it!
15. So an awesome, awesome cab. It is no stranger to BC, I bought it a few years back from Dood and it has served me very well. Huge sound, immense power handling. Very lightweight at around 35kg. There is nothing not to like frankly however as the quote goes "When Alexander saw the breadth of his domain, he wept for there were no more worlds to conquer" - I have enjoyed removing the heads of many punters with this but my needs have changed so I'm offering this up to see who is interested. The price is pretty much I what I paid for it but I would hope most would consider this fair given the unusual and quality nature of the cab. Ideally though I would prefer to trade for something of comparable quality but a little smaller so I can run with a more modular system i.e. couple with my Tecamp 2x12 (also from Dood Towers interestingly enough!). I'm quite open minded on what this might be but my back definitely favours lightweight gear! A portable 4x10 would not be out of the question. Anyway, pics to follow when I've got some decent light. The cab is used but in good condition - just a bit of wear on the loading ramps on the back. Finally I'm based in Norwich and there are no cardboard boxes big enough for this so you'd have to come and get it! Local-ish meet is possible of course... Thanks for looking!
16. Very good condition with original box and markbass stuff. Disc included with software on in case you can't be bothered to download it from the MB site! Generously velcro'd on the base. Just got this but it's not for me. Very nice piece of gear (very well made indeed) but the sounds are not what I'm after. Quite happy to trade for interesting pedals. IE subterranea or Xerograph would be welcome, alternatively some other synthy octave filtery madness. Clearly just the SS and not other bits. Markbass PSU is included though:
17. I'm not in the market at the moment but that looks like a very nice bass for the money. Glwts
18. Lovely. Of the many quality basses I've been lucky enough to degrade with my playing Roscoe is still on the to do list. The Koa looks great here too - does it have much of an impact tonally? The Ash/Maple combo is familiar territory...
19. Totally smitten with this. By the time I could afford a Trace back in the day they'd moved onto series 6 with the dodgy plastic covers and push switches. Still a great amp which I gigged for many years but I felt that these were the definitive article. This looks to be in great nick and I'm sure it will be an immense amp irrespective of the age. Glwts, I might go and raid the kids piggy banks.....
