  2. I have a Streamliner, and I absolutely love it. This is obviously a modern version of it. I wonder if Agedhorse had anything to do with it. Being in the industry, I have owned and played most brands, and in my opinion Jeff Genzler is right up there with the best.
  3. Boxed, in excellent condition with footswitch. Light home use only. Price includes UK postage. Having a clear out atm. 0
  4. " These Things Happen " That's what my Dad told my Mom when he came home loaded at 3am with our new car smashed up beyond recognition in 1966. Lol Daryl
  5. Cool, I'm a huge Zap fan. Yeah, I'm going to chalk it up as one of those "shot in the dark" gigs. This one didn't work out. Daryl
  6. Most of our fairs and festivals are free. And that will include multiple stages (some nice and some not so nice) several local bands and a known signed headliner national act every night. Most major festivals are atleast 3 days. Daryl
  7. Thanks Mart, We have a thriving local live band music scene here. However it's all free. It's not 1980, people are not going to pay to see local bands no matter how good they are or how much you promote and advertise. Daryl
  8. Just did a quick experiment with mine and a known good USB lead. Plugged straight into the PC, I get the USB connecting chime, and Tonelib-Zoom sees it. Plugged into a hub, I don't get a chime, and Tonelib-Zoom doesn't see it. Although the hub seems to be misbehaving generally now, so maybe that part of the experiment was doomed to failure. Anyhow, if the PC chimes when the MS-60B is connected to it, it's got a data connection.
  9. Keep your skills up to speed, get out there and something will turn up if you want it to. My last band, a function outfit drifted apart after 6yrs and at 63yrs old I thought the party was over. I placed my profile on Bandmix and 3 weeks later I was in a '80s cover band. Go for it!

  11. The Baby Quasar, is the Analog phase part of the mighty Quasar (without the extra digital bells and whistles) It's a very versatile 4 stage Phaser, with control over the centre frequency which should be standard on all phasers, as well as resonance and depth/rate. It can do the warm phase 90 thing, but also can have a very bright aggressive sound, which works perfectly with fuzz, it has a very wide range . It can also run up to 12v for extra headroom, very cool phaser indeed, I've tried loads of others and this is my favourite, just need to unlock a bit of cash. It has a bit of the wording worn off, but other than that in good condition, very small pedal in a pretty palma violet colour. Comes with the original Box
  12. Perfectly reasonable thread as it looks like an amp that might cater to a lot of bassists' needs/desires.
  13. I have decided to sell my 1974 Gibson Ripper, which I bought on Basschat in 2011. When I bought it the body had been completely sprayed black. I stripped this all back and was surprised to find the wood is alder, rather than maple, which weighs in at a very comfortable 9lb. Details of the restoration ... I was able to preserve the original finish on the back of the body, but the front had to be resprayed with matching laquer from Manchester Guitar Tech. The original pickguard was wrecked by the paint and has been replaced with 3 ply tortoise shell sourced from the US. It was hard to find one that was correct for the Mk1 body and I ended up with one where the volume and tone knobs are not in the correct alignment, but they work just the same. The pickups, 3-point bridge, knobs and tuners are all original. The trussrod cover and the number disc for the chicken head selector are replacements. The paint on the headstock is crazed, but it's much less noticeable than it appears in the photos. Dating these is difficult but from pot codes and other data it appears to be 1974. It comes with a Chase gig bag. I very rarely play it now, but the action still feels good. If you like the sound of a Ripper, you should like this. Located about 30mins drive from J15 on the M40, west of Stratford upon Avon. Collection preferred, delivery may be possible, courier last resort. Payment by bank transfer or Paypal gift.
  14. My EBS has arrived. Now to make a spot for it.
  15. I found the Streamliner far too wooly for me and I like wool! Maybe I didn't tweak the knobs enough. I think this one will be more to my liking.
  16. I will entertain trades for this, with something my way….🤷🏻‍♂️
  17. I can't believe it's not sold. A beautiful vintage bass with case...what's not to like. I have 6 basses that l gig and alternate on a regular basis, but if l could warrant spending on another bass l would definitely buy this and just hang it on the wall and admire it like an expensive painting while sipping on a malt whisky....apologies in advance for the ramble l'll get my coat.... Glwts bud.
  18. Not ticketed, but aside from festivals our biggest crowds have been pay at the door events rather than free ones.
  19. Yup I’ll get them over to you
  20. PS sorry @funkle for hijacking your thread.
  21. Just finished routing the pick guard and some finishing touches like countersinking the screws etc. Was just about to connect it up and realised all my flathead screwdrivers i need to connect the pickups and preamp have gone missing 🥲 Very happy with how it’s turning out, ended up spacing the pickups a little further than initially intended largely down to cosmetics and symmetry.
  22. I’ve read a lot of reviews about the Warwick Gnome amps but there doesn’t appear to be much on their cabinets. Has anyone had any experience with the cabinets as I’m think about the 2x8 or 2x10 4ohm with the gnome head as I want something smaller (and more forgiving on my back) than my 30year old TE combo?
