Enjoyed that one Rob. Nice wee song. Dave

I'm usually 10-12 hr day with the Glam band and we only play a max of 2.5hrs these days. Dave

Thanks for that one, I’ve got a bit of a drive now so will check that out
-
The one on the core is very cool, you can set parameters like Pattern via assigns to oscillate through options etc to give a cool glitch effect
-
I decided if I was going to buy a piece of synth gear that was going to gather dust I'ld pay £50 more and pick up a Microkorg 2 or similar (I've no idea if it's any good, not spent any time on synthchat finding out)

Purchased a Gramma Pad from Len. Dropped it off, lovely bloke, great condition item, very fair price - can’t ask for more!
-
Purchased a Subdecay Prometheus from Jonnybass. Great comms, super helpful! Thanks.

I think it really helps that he comes from a different background. Same as Josh &co of JHS show - they make content as a side show of their online bass lessons company/pedal company so don't rely on clickbait to survive - like if he wanted to do a hour long video about some really dull bass related thing with no commercial side to it- say making a mute out of a bit of foam you could buy in Lidl, he could and it would appear just as genuine as if he was pitching some product he's involved in.

Shhh 🤫 don’t type that out loud or @rwillett will hear

Fake your own death? If they're all sound then I'm sure they'll understand if you just have an (reasonably) honest chat with them, but I'd lean more towards it being an issue with you rather than saying 'you lot are going nowhere, I'm off'. It sounds like gigs aren't on the cards? So you're under no obligation to play x amount of upcoming shows and sticking around for too long but, I'd offer to stick at it for a month or 2 until they find a replacement just to keep it civil.
-
Nashville gigs are very poorly paid in general. Even tours with well known artists might only pay $200 per show (with all expenses covered obviously). Small fish in a big pond comes to mind!

Yeah the time I left a band through "not feeling it" was more due to the drive to their rehearsal rooms. In summer it was 45 mins through country lanes, a very nice drive in fact, but I knew once it was winter I`d get the hump with it in the rain and the dark with no lighting, so better to walk now. They understood, I stayed on til they got a replacement and played the first gig the band did, which was a great laugh.

We nearly drove off with Keira Kenworthy's gear!

When my gear was flightcased, all the cases were blue. Everything else was black and so my gear was instantly identifiable. Even now, all my covers have a blue border. -
I haven't had those but I am one for buying synth pedals and not using them, so this would be right up my street

Second this. They did my 79 Stingray and 75 Jazz (both maple neck and board) a few years ago and did a fantastic job.

That Ibanez is a welcome reminder of a less tasteful age. I remember going into Musical Exchanges in Brum in the late 80s and lusting after the crackle finished BC Riches, I think Washburn & Kramer did something similar as well. Hot neon guitars and basses in almost painfully bright pinks and yellows were definitely a thing at around the same time as well. I don't remember seeing any animal print guitars, but they wouldn't have been out of place. Then, as mentioned above, grunge pretty much killed all the flamboyant finishes and it feels a bit like fashion wise guitars have been doing the same sensible retro/vintage finish thing for the last 30 years or so. -
Ah, in my one and only foray into the World Of Five I had a US Precision, did this and it did seems to tighten the B up a bit - did it cos I always use them on the A to stop pesky rattle and that always seems a tad tighter afterwards too.
