  1. Past hour
  2. Any more news on the release date and pricing of this range? Struggling to find anything online since last autumn/winter
  3. Same here, Tech21 gear sounds great, is super reliable, and as a bonus sound people seem to love it too.
  4. Or not it seems. Our lead singer/guitarist/band leader has been, and still is, really ill. He has finally said he can’t physically play this coming Sunday. I’ve been encouraging him to think of his health first before gigs, so this is a good thing. Having been below par myself for the past fortnight, coupled with my current ennui with gigging, this suits me fine, especially as the weather is shocking up here at the moment and shows no sign of abating for at least a week. So, next up for us is this (dreadful AI [I assume] poster by the venue, a female, Mod, copper, really?):
  5. I’m not in a gigging band, if I do stand in for someone I use the provided rig, and I use the studios amps when rehearsing. But still want one! Love that the amp is now Ashdown blue, looks much better than the silver & black earlier versions.
  6. Lozz196

    New amp

And it looks like they’ve just got a makeover and are now the RBM series.
  7. Price dropped to £60!

  9. Down in the ground where the dead men go - The Pogues
  10. I'm moving this on as since getting an HX Stomp, I've only been using this as a clean DI, and it's seems like a waste! I bought it off here unboxed with the dual lock stuck to the back, so I don't have any of the manuals etc, but will ensure the pedal is well packed. It has lived on my pedalboard the last few years and done a couple of hundred gigs in that time so there are plenty of signs of use, but everything works as you'd expect. I've tried to photograph everything as accurately as possible! Collection from Leeds or can add on postage if preferred.

  11. Thank you 🙏🏽
  12. After putting this off time and time again I'm now selling the best speaker I will ever own. I went the option for the speaker pole mount fitted on this just in case i ever want this directed right into my face. 5 years of IEM gigs has brought this decision about. Bought new from Barefaced late 2019, Used for a handful of gigs with Bootleg Boss and then light home use in 2020 (sic) A few more gigs with Bootleg Boss in 2021 before defecting to a band with IEMs. Since then this has been used at home appx once a year just to check it's all good. Very well looked after and in near mint condition. Checked over last night and sounding perfect. I used this exclusively with a Markbass TTE 500 amp which is also up for sale. The piccie with Markbass in is purely to show what a cute couple they are and is not included in the sale. Oops, I have just realised that I didn't take a picture of the cover...I'll get that sorted soonly Collection and a cuppa preferred from Warboys, Cambs PE28 or can post Parcelforce 48 for £18 or possibly meet

  13. Learning some cool tunes for an audition. Trouble No More by The Allman Brothers and Albert King's Born Under a Bad Sign being the standouts
  14. I kinda agree about his tone with those strings but Im pretty sure given the way he leads the band he wouldnt have the stamina to use anything heavier... could be wrong but thats my take. Anyway great to see him still at it.... legend.
  15. Just found this too. A ltd Custom Shop 50th Anniversary reproduction of the very 1st Spector model - the SB1. Reasonable price for custom shop too.... I have an original 1976/77 one so not so bothered, but very cool nonetheless! This is the shape that Gene Simmons of KISS had the horns sharpened on and painted black with a white border and it became his main bass through the late 70's (KISS Alive II etc). https://dshowmusic.com/spector-limited-custom-shop-sb-1-bass/
  16. Warwick Streamer LX 5 wanted
  17. Hils have let me down with my pickguard order. Nearly a 3 month wait and it wasn't included in the Anderton's shipment.☹️ Anderton's are trying to make up for it by sending me one off a bass they have in for refurb but it may not be perfect. I suppose if not I can use it as a template and get one made. Disappointing.
  18. Here's my full video review of the Hornburg Dual Parallel Drive/Fuzz Pedal by @Goliath_FX based here in Blighty! What a corker!! https://www.bassgearmag.com/goliath-effects-hornburg-dual-parallel-drive-fuzz-pedal/ Please like and share the video - I'd also really appreciate it for some positive comments on the YouTube video itself, as it helps me to know if you wanna see more!
  19. I don't want it 'aged' though. 😞
  20. A decent Antex soldering iron isn't that expensive - don't be tempted by the cheap ones on Amazon, they really aren't worth it. Get yourself a decent ring of solder, sponge and stand and get plenty of practice. Start with some cheap jack leads, get used to how long it takes for the iron to get to the right temp and melt the solder. Cheap it clean and you will soon have the knack. A decent helping hand with magnifying glass is also useful and can be had quite cheap. Definitely worth a go.
  21. Not sure where you live, but last time I was in Andertons they had some HILS in the store to try out
