I must say, I'm becoming more and more enamoured with the idea of the Anagram. It sounds great based on YouTube demos. Being able to have a few NAM pedals might make my external effects redundant too. My main sticking point is the three footswitches. I'd need a MIDI footswitch with an expression pedal input of some sort to make it more useable for me. I was playing around with a pedalboard designer based around the Anagram and my current needs if money was no object and this is what I came up with. That's on a Harley Benton Spaceship 40, so not a huge board.

This is getting silly. @Dood - you need to cover break up of amp models in a mini review!

2 years is after they actually put in an extra production line a few years ago! If they hadn't done that, then it would have been 4! I got mine in 1 year almost to the day in 2023.

It was an innocent mistake by someone who probably didn’t understand the normal etiquette on a forum. The histrionic responses are what they are. Polite personal message could have sorted it all out. Guess it’s how forums work. Hey ho. I need a lie down…

UPDATE: Zoom Effect Manager 2.2.0 works as plug&play with my B1Xfour as with all my other (previous gen) Zooms. And no, effects can't be "migrated" from one gen to the other. It's generation coherent, meaning, depending on the model you connect it shows available effects from any SAME GENERATION devices. The good thing is ZEM also compresses effects for the B1Xfour (same as it does with previous models). I had 80 something FX at 100% memory (previously tuned with zoom-zt2, so no compression). When plugged to ZEM it showed less than 80% used. So I kept adding stuff (mostly more guitar and bass amp/cab/drive sims, the upright effect from the A1four and a couple more reverbs/delays -I keep SFX/REV/DLY categories minimalistic, I don't use those much-). I ended up with 111 effects at 100% memory with ZEM. Not the outrageous 182 effects my MS-60B holds inside, but still real cool 👍

The world has gone mad because a few people pointed out how the old headline was clickbait and strongly implied the bloke had died? Time for a lie down mate. It's going to be ok.

I have patellar tendonitis and use CBD oil through a dab pen, which really helps with the pain and swelling. But it's best when it's taken regularly over a period of time. A one off dose here and there may not be as effective.

I wrote to MarkBass they kindly replied with this : "Regarding your MB58R 102 cab, generally there shouldn't be any issues with placing it in the hold for air travel, as we frequently ship our cabinets this way without problems. However, to be safe, it would be wise to ensure it has adequate protective packaging. Unfortunately, we have occasionally seen instances of significant damage due to rough handling during luggage transport."

I have a Squier Bronco Bass I leave in the car when I play double bass gigs. It’s basically insurance if anything goes wrong with the big dog. I can see the appeal of a cheapo bass. I’d buy one local to me on FB marketplace or Gumtree.

Oh sorry, I misunderstood then. Yeah I’d expect a dynamic amp effect to break-up in the standard way. If it doesn’t, that is somewhat odd. Si

But we aren't taking about a capture here, but a traditional model such as you would get on an HXStomp or plugin i.e. it has all the expected controls of an SVT (bass, mid, mid selection, treble, ultra low switch, ultra high switch) except gain, and apparently has infinite headroom (within digital limits). It just seems like a bit of a weird design choice not being able to make the amps break up in any way beside digital clipping

Would this be what you're thinking of. Our very own @woodyratm I think 🤔 Now where did I put that piggy bank / kids inheritance? 🤣 ....and even rarer is a JD Calibas. I've only ever seen 1 in the flesh, which I owned, and one 6 stringer advertised in the last 30+ years.

I was at that gig too Steve, yeah sound not that great but was pleased to see them as always thought there was just something "more" to them than a lot of the other bands around at the time. -

I’m not sure I quite understand your first sentence?! In that case, you’re not making the amp break-up, you’re just introducing a drive circuit before it, which is then being amplified. The test would be putting a significant clean boost in front of the amp capture, and seeing if that drives it. With no horse in the race, I too would not expect an amp capture to break-up, as it doesn’t have the information to do that in the same way a dynamic, controllable effect does, it’s just a snapshot of a single sound. I’d probably expect digital clipping (bad) before you achieved anything useable. But happy to be proven wrong of course. Si

14 TX64 Pads and Mounting arms Pads work perfectly well responding to all pad trigger areas and velocity. I originally had 3 full kits at my rehearsal room but have no need for them and most of the parts/frames etc have been sold. selling as a job lot as I’d rather not split and do individual postage. Collection is good too, NE26 or NE6 or could possibly drive to meet depending on distance. Any questions please ask. Thanks David I
