The Pirate studios we use have CCTV in every room, as well as the kitchen/Toilet areas. So we assume things are monitored.

Fender precision bass 1971 Price 5000 euro
gregorbass replied to gregorbass's topic in Basses For Sale
I know it's a lot of money (at least for me) and it's a serious purchase, so I'd like to talk only to people who are seriously interested in buying it... My ad isn't a request for help in identifying what kind of guitar it is, but rather a sale of a specific bass. I didn't inherit this guitar and don't know anything about it, I've only been collecting basses for about 20 years... I think I know quite a lot about them... to put it mildly. -

Never mind their head office. Whoever the OP spoke with was obviously following their policy, so they won't be bothered. Inform the local authority and the fire service and don't do so anonymously. Give dates, times, etc. I'm sure they would be very interested to learn the company asked a customer to disable a fire alarm. If they've already banned you, you have nothing to lose. Forget the hand-wringing over a bit of swearing. That's obviously their way of trying to justify themselves.

Akai E2 Headrush delay/looper - Price drop - £100 posted

Reminds me of a gig I did aaaages ago where the sound guy was quite aggressively insistent that I plug my bass straight into his very ordinary £50-ish DI box, and then take the link-out from that to my pedalboard and amp. Main problem being that I had a Drop pedal on my board at the time, which would have meant that had I agreed, half the set would have been in the wrong tuning through the PA. The concept didn't seem to bother him at all. When I'd finally made him understand that I wasn't going to use his DI (I'm still not sure he grasped why...) he still wouldn't take the feed from the Sansamp on my board, and instead angrily set up an SM57 on the cab.

Intoutof started following Bass VT DI or...?
-
Been using the VTDI for 5+ years, tried a couple of alternatives and still see no reason to change it. It sounds great, it's tiny and runs off standard 9v PSU or battery if you're travelling super light. You can also turn the speaker sim off if you like.

Small update, the neck pocket has been cleaned out. Unfortunately, that means it's a tad too deep and a tad too wide. So will be building it back up with wood veneer, which should hopefully be arriving today. Also suspect that the screw holes were drilled out by hand and are at rather jaunty angles, so I'm going to check that and if it's too far out of wack, gonna fill those for subsequent redrilling.

Really like that colour (shade?). Another thing is the amount of matt cars, so much better than shiny, need more basses like that too!

For sale, recently purchased on here, Elektron Digitone synth module, selling at the price I paid, in great condition. Reason for sale, too complicated for my aging, feeble mind. This is what Elektron say about the Digitone. The Digitone provides a simplified and revitalized take on FM synthesis and a prime source of new sounds and timbres. Digitone makes use of a combination of FM sound generation and subtractive synthesis across four synth tracks letting you easily dive from jagged chaos to mellow soundscapes. Pick your algorithm and uncover rich and musical sounds of a crystalline, electric, or metallic nature. £295

What a touch on the bass! Hadrien Feraud's new masterclass promo

Yep, I agree... I found his phrasing is more lyrical. -
I see a lot of high-end German motors rocking the primer grey look these days. I can't work out how that marketing worked. May as well bring back British Leyland's mustard yellow and rust brown shades...
