Hi everyone, Up for sale is this SahBro? Brass Section Fuzz. A cool Brassmaster clone in a 1590BB enclosure. It's a nice option if you're looking for that particular kind of fuzz sound, but it's not in a giant enclosure at a larger price. It's got a few dings, but it all works as it should. We played 2 nights at the Chorley festival last year - Friday and a Saturday. its a multi-venue thing across the town. first night peaked with a ukulele orchestra and by the time we played, one couple and 6 people who I knew arrived. the second night in a more “prime” venue - was absolutely rammed… it’s a venue problem as well as a band concern.

I use one of these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/305925820264?var=605184196024 I can get 6 lamps in a 20x20cm bag plus the mains leads. Check the length though, they come in a range. Previously I hollowed out an old bass case which took five lamps with a bit more protection

Good rehearsal tonight. Boys of Summer requires a lot of concentration! I took a five string which was just as well as we ended up playing it in multiple keys. For the himass bridge fans my stock Flea Jazz had no difficulty sustaining the notes when we played Em. And for people who worry about flabby b-strings, my Harley Benton Marquess was sounding awesome. We ended up settling for Bm but I'll probably use an octaver (as does Tim Schmidt when playing it in Dm on a four string). Aside from four new songs, most of the evening was tidying up arrangements. -
90s/00s Korean brand, apparently good quality, & mostly copies. Got into some bother with Fender over the similarity of the logo on their, erm, Fender knockoffs. They made some originals including the Argus bass, which I had GAS for for a long time. And I still regret not picking up the one that was on here for £100, quite a lot of years ago. Yep. I still want one.

Please share any new thoughts on dealing with poor attendance at gigs. I've been dealing with it for years, yet I still struggle with weak attendance. I know it's part of the job. Take a look at the contrast we've all had to deal with. Daryl

Zoom Ultra Fuzz UF-01: Had one years ago and had some nostalgic curiosity. Just as good as I remember and not super keen to get rid, but there's other things I want and with 85 DIY pedals on the shelves, I have a strict one in one out policy on branded pedals... For those who don't know, the ultra fuzz was something of a hidden gem - often very wrongly considered a fuzz factory clone, it's absolutely anything but. Can do noisy squeals but also does very rich dense heavy distortion. This one is in absolutely immaculate condition, with box. Price is £125 and includes postage with adequate insurance. Pickup available from Sheffield or Leeds also an option Zoom MS-70CDR+ Multistomp Now the other end of the Zoom spectrum, the new version of the Chorus, Delay, Reverb multistomp pedal. Just not using it enough to keep, it's genuinely amazing but I've just got my sounds settled with other pedals. Had from new and never left the desk, absolutely immaculate with box. £90 posted with adequate insurance.-

I remember the first time I heard Danny play on something and was struck by the fantastic tone emanating from the stereo. It was David Sylvian’s Ink in the Well. That was back in the mid ‘80s and still no one else has come close to having a tone that good to my ears. We were blessed to have had him and are bereft now that he has gone. However, we’ll always have that tone on a recording somewhere. RIP, Danny, we’ll not likely see your like again.
