  3. Gah! This is what I get for trying to update while having a conversation with someone.
  4. This look quite cool. I do all my home playing using headphones, but I quite fancy this to noodle on when the family are out. https://www.thomann.co.uk/joyo_ba_30_micro_bass_amp_white.htm?srsltid=AfmBOorOmjq8Tw1bwMWrWG4EeWgiHubdmTQVKqi-ubA5aP97cv6qPGGBrY4

  6. Just realized sed the Clarett doesn't have Loopback which is a real shame as that'd be a really handy feature for what I need. Given Id be looking at the 2pre I wouldn't have the inputs to setup my own loopback etc. Maybe I'll just stick with the Scarlett, for demo stuff and doing little videos for social media I don't think the difference in audio quality would quite offset the ease of use that the Scarlett offers. Nothing to see here 🤣
  7. This might seem a bit of an odd question but can you please let me have the exact weight of the unit in gms?
  8. Thank you brother :)))

  10. Great little amp, home use only.

  12. I bought the amps and cabs as one lot from @la bam of this parish as the basis for building things up - I didn't intentionally go for H & K. They're weighty beasts, but they do sound awesome. And putting the tops on the subs nicely deprives drunken punters of drinks tables 🙂
  13. Of all the things I don’t need but I really want 🤣 My favourite combo! I think these were about £1600 when new? Weigh about 72lb? I could have sworn mine went to 700w at 2Ohm? Lots of question marks, it’s been a while! Fabulous piece of kit. At £200 you could probably never need another bass rig. GLWTS.
  14. WOW! If you are seeing this, don't procrastinate. Be in touch with the seller ASAP! These do not come up very often..reason being, they are that GOOD!!! GLWTS 😁😁👍 Ps Great price too!
  15. I'm sorry for the epic necro however I wonder how things stand up with the later range of devices? I'm currently trying to weigh up a Clarett+ 2Pre vs Scarlett 4i4 4th Gen. I currently have a 1st gen Scarlett 2i2, but looking to do more re-amping etc so need 2 inputs and 4 outputs. Does the Clarett+ still have an edge on the newer Scarlett range of devices in terms of audio quality? I do appreciate how the features of the Scarlett are accessible via hardware controls vs software, I do on occasion use the interface directly into my phone for some quick videos and demos etc which means I wouldn't have access to those options.
  16. Resurrecting this chat as I recall finding it helpful earlier in the year, and I now need to get sorted with a card payment provider for gigs. It sounds as though SumUp is a popular choice, I see some mentions of Zettle too. Are people generally using dedicated card readers, or are the 'tap to pay' on a phone options just as good? Are there any other providers worth considering?
  17. Ditto, I was wondering whether it should be in "Notable deaths".

  19. No, a much better idea is to buy a 5-string, then sell it on in three months with "I've found I don't get on with 5-strings" in the advert. Incidentally, I moved to 5-string after 30 years on 4s.
  20. Wanted to try one of these for a while. Which version is this, please?
  21. Thank you brother :))
  22. I didn't realise it was showing adverts, I run an ad blocker. I find the search function really poor on JMB. It's sort of better on Bandmix, except that 75% of the people on there don't understand how to set the filters for what they're looking for, so they look for accordionists, bagpipers, and triangle players as well as bassists, when they're actually looking for a drummer.
