  3. Wow, that is an incredible connection that I didn't know existed! Two fabulous musicians, giving so much to our instrument and our community.
  4. I've only just spotted this thread, and I bloody well wish I hadn't. GAS is back with a bang. That sunburst 5-string... ohhhhh lordy. 5. Thanks! It's a nice combo with some heft to the tone. If it was practical for me to have multiple rigs, I'd keep hold of it.
  6. Amazing pedal, selling as I have two. velcro on the bottom. Price includes UK shipping. Thanks
  7. More progress:
  8. Ouch, that's heavy. I have a Z7-5 and a Z3-5, at 9.5 and 9.2 lbs, which is very decent for 5 strings
  9. Depending on your budget, you could possibly get a multi FX that can do it all in one go, inc amp sims/cab etc. The Zoom's/Helixstuff have GK sims in them, as well as multiple chours pedals.
  10. Oh wow, a blast from the past. My father had to oversee a clearout at a school resources centre in the early 90s and I ended up with four bell and howell 1x12 cabs. One pair became "hifi" cabs in my flat and the other pair had a 50w carlsbro valve amp shoved up them as my guitar rig at the time. Sounded pretty decent in both roles as I recall. Absolutely no idea what became of them which is a shame, loved the aesthetic
  11. That tab is already so close to an ordinary score: tempo is seen under the stave. But: four lines instead of five, and heads are numbers, not dots.
  12. The TC Electronic Helix Chorus has a Duff Preset IIR, although you could probably use almost any multi knob chorus.
  13. Whereabouts in Warwickshire ?

  15. Hi all, guitarist-turned-bassist in a folk-metal ceilidh band here! I've been using an Ibanez Ergodyne 4 string since forever, but looking to make the switch to a 5 string and thought I would sign up here for some help and advice. Would rather like one of the Schecter Model-T Exotic 5 strings, so if anyone here is looking to sell theirs then get in touch :).
  16. Hold on ill check it against my usa sub...bear with
  17. Dropped to £180, without the spare strings I was originally including. This bass is in hardly used, mint condition.
  18. A genuine bargain for a brand new Electra for anyone interested
  19. Location: Teesside (N.E.)
  20. Hélas, there is no right out of the box control plate for these Japanese Jazz Basses except being sure it's coming from one of these basses. Before buying ask for the dimensions if they are not stated or put a very specific request here (with the dimensions) : https://www.basschat.co.uk/forum/22-items-wanted/
  21. Hi Chris, Seems I don’t automatically get a notification when someone replies! I’ve PM’d you the number. Terry
  22. Great little OC2 clone, not getting any use as I take my Octabvre. has Velcro in the bottom, price includes UK shipping. Thanks

  23. Second this - the TC Corona mini is as good a chorus as you could ever need and the toneprints are fantastic, and it takes up very little space
  24. Better Than I Imagined - Robert Glasper
  25. Hi all Moving this on as I’m realising I’m just not really a PJ guy. Awesome, really well made bass, that I’ve had since new and made quite a lot of modifications too: - New tort pickguard, original included - Noll preamp imported from the states, vol/blend, bass/treble, dual passive tone control - Saddles swapped to quality slotted ones for vintage look and more control over string spacing - Battery box installed - Delano Hum Cancelling bridge pickup The upgrades add up to about the same price as the bass I think! There Is some play wear on the body, some buckle rash and a mark on the front but nothing major. weight approx 4.1kg Have a box so can post or pickup from Chessington or Central London.
