  1. Past hour
  2. this is what I was originally going to try can I swipe thru them using a page turner?
  3. The simplest way would probably be to take pics of the notes with the tablet. They should automatically be put into the tablet's gallery, where you can just swipe through them. If you wanted to store other pics on the tablet you could move the music notes into their own album.
  4. Wowzer that’s £1,000 more than I paid for my Starry Night!! Looks nice but no thanks
  5. As long as your note are legible, you can use your tablet to extract the text and create notes. Simple enough.
  6. You can view PDF files on your tablet, just get Adobe Acrobat reader. I used PDF files on my tablet for similar purposes. I transfer them using Dropbox - I'm too cheap to pay for Dropbox so I have to access it via a browser on the tablet, but I just create them in Dropbox on my PC or laptop and then download them onto the tablet so I don't have to rely on an internet connection to see them. Another reason for using PDF files is so I can use a page turner - more for songs where I'm singing so I've got the lyrics too and it goes past a page. I use a Lekato page turner (can't remember whether I set it to portrait or landscape) and set the PDF viewer to single page mode rather than continuous.
  7. Very good condition recently taken in p/x but not displacing my current rig, THE EBS MICROBASS II PREAMP IS THE BASS PLAYERS ‘SWISS ARMY KNIFE’. A DI BOX, TWO-CHANNEL PREAMP, WITH SPEAKER SIMULATION, EFFECTS LOOP, PHONES OUTPUT AND LOADS OF OTHER GREAT FEATURES. THIS IS THE ULTIMATE BASS TOOL. PERIOD! Two Channels and A Useful Loop. The MicroBass II can be used as an active direct box, a one or two channel preamp, instrument switcher or blender. The two channels provide sound shaping from high end solid-state types to distorted timbres, using the awarded tube emulation circuitry found in the EBS range of professional bass heads. An incorporated effects loop gives the user added flexibility for connecting to other effect pedals, or for mixing in an external audio source such as a CD player for rehearsal purposes. Unmatched Flexibility. The balanced output with speaker simulator option provides unmatched flexibility in live and studio situations. Footswitches control mute and channel operation/switching. Other features include headphone output, low battery indicator, link and master outputs, bass, ‘sweepable’ midrange, treble, bright and edge filters, drive and effects mix controls. Price includes 1st class postage in UK
  8. I've never tested it beyond 17mm so I can't really answer that question. But a safe bet is to check the spacing of the original Steinberger Q/XQ and XM 5 string basses. 19mm does seem a little on the wide side though
  9. Aye! If only it were a 5
  10. I am another happy customer, highly recommended, great deal from Mick.
  11. I thought here would be a good place to start In my tribute bands I have a few notes to check arrangements etc as we do live versions of some songs that are very different. I usually make notes on A4 paper but I've bought a larger tablet to do this What are my options here I was going to photograph them and arrange them in folders Should I scan them and load them on. Can I view pdf files on my tablet I would also like to turn the page occasionally on the longer notes
  12. And who can blame them. I wonder what the reaction would be if a Japanese consumer emailed a guitar shop in this Country enquiring in their own language too. I've had a look at the Ishibashi website. Looks okay though much of course is in their own dialect. They don't have specifically what I'm looking for however easy to see they're geared up to trading with overseas buyers
  13. That's good to hear. Thank you
  14. Today
  15. It depends on exactly what your gigging circumstances are, I have a Mark bass amp that is 300 watts and the band I am in uses a pa and the bass goes through that as well as through the speaker on the combo amp and I am considering downgrading as this amp is absolute overkill for our gigs, I think the loudest I have had it is 9 o clock on the volume, even if we were not using a pa I think the amp produces more volume than I would ever need for our pub gigs.
  16. Nice to see shortscale Stingrays becoming available again in Europe but hell - not cheap at £2800. Not sure if these are special editions as they are active unlike other shorties. Whatever the case it doesn’t look like I’ll be getting a stablemate for my Starry Night passive version. https://www.google.com/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChsSEwjVsoOphtSSAxUImVAGHVbDCdYYACICCAEQMxoCZGc&co=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI1bKDqYbUkgMVCJlQBh1WwwnWEAQYGiABEgLGGfD_BwE&sig=AOD64_38pwaJ7xkdS4I4ymfMLkT_zbJJ9g&ctype=5&q=&ved=2ahUKEwigrP-ohtSSAxU8W0EAHe9zCTgQwg8oAHoFCA0QtwE&adurl=
  17. Keep going mate I’d be interested if I had the cash. Nice bass, well priced !
  18. Thank you
  19. I'm not sure to be honest, is there any way you can measure them? It looks like they are the larger 1/2" size, but I could be wrong
