  2. Could do with a photo of the full rear of the body showing the control cavity cover.
  3. Selling my Olinto P-Bass from 2024 in "British Racing Green". I got this bass in a trade a short while ago. It definitely sounds better than my former Fender CS Pino and Sean Hurley, or Moon bass. This one sounds like Freddie Washington’s P-Bass! Awesome fingerstyle and slap tone! However, I already have two other 4-strings that I barely use, so this one has to go. Alder body Roasted maple neck Madagascar rosewood Weight: 3.7–3.8 kg Includes case Sale is made with exclusion of any warranty. No returns, no guarantee. (Partial) trades are not possible! But in this case we have to meet in person! I am interested in Adamovic, Mattison, Yamaha JP/NE, Status, preferably 6-strings. Not interested in Fender, Ibanez, Sandberg or fretless basses. I am always open to sensible offers.

  4. Always loved the RB Duo 2.1 board but hated the lack of a patchbay like its bigger siblings. Did some modding, don’t have a decent work area available so it’s pretty rough but the wonky cuts will be hidden. Gonna finish setting it up later 👌
  5. Not currently on the radar, but I shall!
  6. I would say the only reason they harp on about the 12 vs 10 is because they clearly state they designed the 10 like a more old school driver and the 12 to be as high power, clean and flat as possible. They could have done that the other way round but this is the way they’ve gone and that’s why there is a distinction on their website. IMO it’s not the same as Ashdown (for example) saying a 15 is for the lows and a 10 does mids and highs better. But totally agree that we have to go towards the “what value does this bring you as a player” rather than “you need 15s for low and loud” type spiel
  7. Yes its still here
  8. I didn't,thanks for asking, I ran out if time before Christmas had too much on
  9. I have decided to sell my combo as I barely use it. It was a bit of an impulse purchase around 6 months back that I don't really need as I mostly use my separates. It sounds great, very light and with the removal of 4 screws, the head can be removed and to my great surprise, the amp has a lid, so it can be used separately. I t's a great super lightweight setup with great Markbass tone, and this is the 500W version and not the 300W version that is out there. Its 300W at 8ohm and the full 500W with an additional cab - it is very loud on it's own. It comes with a bonus Markbass channel pedal and mute footswitch and also a Roqsolid cover which has a pocket. Being only 6 months old it's still under warranty. No issues and in fabulous condition. £550 - Collection from Plymouth ideally but happy to discuss couriers at cost to the buyer.
  10. Warwick Thumb NT from 1990 in superb condition with Warwick fitted flight case. This is a nice clean example with minor signs of playing wear under closer inspection, it even still has the little plastic catch on the cover! It plays fantastically well, no dead notes at all, the setup is fantastic at present, it can take a very low action. Weight is 4.5 KG The weight of the flight case alone is nearly 10KG - it’s an absolute bomb-proof beast of a case!! Trial and collection in Cardiff preferred but happy to ship by whichever courier the buyer would prefer. Happy to entertain straight-up trades and trades + cash. Cheers.
  11. I have the 846v and it's luvverly. Spacing is 16.5 on the 5 and the 6.
  12. Good spot, will amend the post! Yup, made on the same line as the Fender Japan basses as I understand it
  13. Hey folks! Love the pedal and all this chatter. Agree with big redx that ideally we could fully close the filter in the editor. There's a whole host of stuff on the wishlist for me, haha, because I'm greedy. But it's already very very good. In an ideal world, having the possibility for accent to modulate the amount of adsr for the vcf would be great too (i.e. implementing some of mod matrix ). I don't think this is currently possible? Elsewhere, I'm trying to trigger some of my analog synths with the pedal but having some difficulty sending midi data. Maybe it's user error 😅 but I have the channels set up right etc and think the patch is properly set up to send midi. Has anyone got a video example of some playing bass through the pedal to trigger an hardware synth? (I.e. without computer). I suppose, perhaps it's better to send CV out to the synths (which would require the panda cable), but I thought I might not need to do that. Thanks all!
  14. I've had this lovely metallic black 1998 Fender Lyte for a while now, but I rarely use it these days. Why so cheap? Well, at a rehearsal, the nut sort of literally exploded—I've never seen this happen before. When I tried to remove the excess nut, the top wooden part shattered into many pieces that couldn't be glued back together. I simply glued a larger nut in place that is functioning just fine, but as it is, I rarely use it, so I didn't bother going to a luthier. The bass plays well, though, and I used it at a recent rehearsal to good effect. It's lovely at 7.4 lbs; it's a 1998 model with the original Fender electronics and all the Fender knobs. I thought I’d try here and offer it as a bargain to the B/C community. £400 or trade for a Markbass M58R 2x10 or 1x12 Collection from Plymouth, or happy to discuss couriers at the buyer's cost.

  15. After a tiresome few years my osteopath has just advised me to start going to the gym again, as I’m now pretty much pain free. But she’s said the very lightest weights only, and machine-weights only, no free weights. So whatever machine I use one of whatever weight is on it, with the intention of now building some strength back to protect it going forwards.
  16. Did it arrive last Friday? If it did it was mine. 😀
  17. And it’s sold 🤔
  18. Ah man. Thats pretty much my ideal jazz… nothing to offer financially or trade wise…
  19. That's more than I'm doing and when I've got anywhere near that level, I've aggravated old (mainly football) injuries and had to stop training for a while. However, I wouldn't want to put people off. You can do a lot less than Dave and still get tangible benefits. The main point is to build a bit of core strength and to halt muscle decay and maintain bone density. All of this is very important once you hit your fifties. To achieve this, all you need to do is lift medium weights on a regular basis. As far as improving your core goes, I have a displaced vertebrae in my back as a result of doing too many sit-ups once in my thirties and then playing football the day after. This could have quite a serious affect on me, especially at this time of year when the weather gets cold. However, when I started going to a gym in my late thirties, I started doing moderate weight exercises to strengthen the muscles around my spine and I have never had a problem with my back since. How many people here complain about back issues stopping them from lifting cabs, playing certain basses, etc. A few months of doing simple exercises and I went from being in agony whenever the weather got cold, to having no problem with my back at all. You can do similar things to alleviate shoulder problems as well.
  20. Ah... that's put me right off 🤣🤣🤣
  21. Dingleberry Jam of course.
  22. Extended trade/part-ex list (all 4 strings) Yamaha BB2000/3000 Late 80s Stingray Stingray Classic Spector Black or White Euro P/J USA Fender Geddy Lee J-Bass Rick 4001/4001V63 Steinberger XL2
  23. The recent purchase of another 4-string superlight means this beauty is up for sale. I'd rather not sell, as it is hands-down the best 5-string I have ever owned and of course superlights are hard to come by, perhaps more so in 5 strings. The low B is lovely! The Sandberg sounds great, feels great, looks great, and the weight of 6.8lb is... great! Gig comfortably for hours. The truth is, the reggae band I use a 5-string with seems to resurface every 5 years on average. I used this bass once only at our last gig in 2025; since then, it's been hung on the wall and not played. I use 4 stringers in my other bands, and recently purchased another 4-string superlight, so I need to balance the bank books. The bass is in excellent condition, with a few minor marks being a soft wood, but nothing of concern. The neck is sublime, so comfortable. Glockenklang preamp with pull passive and passive tone , fairly sure they're the black label Sandberg pickups. It'll come with a tatty gig bag but can be upgraded for an extra £ - it will be well packed if needing to be couriered. £1150 - may take new type Markbass M58R 8ohm 2x10" or 1x12" in p/t ex. Collection from Plymouth, Devon, or happy to discuss couriers at the buyer's cost.
