  2. The front-ported GR Bass AT210V, a vertical 2x10, has been available for a while and is lighter than this great lump.
  3. I really don't want to do this but I'm in need of a 5 string of sorts, i may withdraw it. It's a Suhr Custom Classic Jazz Bass. Swamp ash body Quarter sawn neck Hipshot Vintage Tuner's Aguilar single coils Suhr 2 band preamp. Adriano playing a Suhr.. Trades. Lakland USA, Sadowsky UV Xotic etc.

  8. … I’ve got the Mk 1, Mk 2 and Mk 3 variants and tbh I like them all. The settings/sound you get from the Mk 1 version is what made me settle on them for my fretted stuff. I don’t think you’d go wrong with any of the Mks tbh.

A 3Leaf Audio Wonderlove is available here in Aotearoa - I’m thinking about it
  12. Solitary Man - Neil Diamond
  13. I concurr. Wrap the tie around the hat.
  14. ...and today I grabbed the C4! Nice to keep the rig together, cheers buddy and apologies again for not keeping it simple and buying them both the first time 😅
  15. After much fart arsing about I’ve decided to just go with my Zoom B3 for future rehearsals and gigs in the two cover bands I’m in. The Zoom delivers the sounds I want and is lightweight with XLR etc so a real swish army knife.
  16. Nice move. I sold my SR5 to fund a 55-94, which was my #1 bass for 14 years. I briefly owned a very nice 55-02. IMO Lakland's are very special basses.
  17. Another day of rehearsals at the arena, this time with links to the other parts of the show. Tomorrow we do it for real... twice. Here's the view from my house: Alan's lovely leslie cab... Posh camera... The gallery - the brain of the show.
  18. Some low-end electric pianos only have a headphone socket. Plugging headphones in mutes the internal speakers, so a stereo jack to 2x mono jack adaptor allows even those to be connected to a PA.
  19. Lovely bass, is it me or has the headstock been subtly changed at the end? It may be the angle, it looks more rounded.
  20. I have the same amp in my music room. I usually rehearse with headphones but will occasionally plug in and rattle the windows.
  21. I look at the guy in the middle and think 'anything'. 🙂
  22. If anyone is sitting on the fence about this, I can say that it's the best amp I've ever used. I regularly gig mine as you can see in that thread. I picked mine up from the Amp Hospital yesterday after a repair to some damage caused by someone else's abuse/idiocy and one of the leading amp techs of all time (IYKYK) told me how good an amp it is and how beautifully designed and made it is. They're very very good with "ordinary" basses but with Spectors they absolutely kick @$$ and take names. Also, yer man @Berserker is a absolute gent and top basschatter.
  23. I have one of these and it's a great bass - it's more versatile than you would think and it looks so cool. Also the neck and frets are amazing. Good luck with the sale.
  24. Ragamuffin Man - Manfred Mann
  25. Which, I guess, just goes to prove that you can always learn something new!
  26. Both great instruments. Try a Lakland 5594. They are everything and more. Greatest modern/traditional electric bass that is made today imo. And that neck. !!!!!!!!!
  27. Would likely take an interesting swap for this. I was hoping to use the money towards a short scale ACG, but also in the market for a Jazz, preferably a Flea signature in pink if there's any going round. Send me a PM, always up for a chat!
