  2. No worries - I’m in my 50s and I’m definitely struggling with keeping sharp!
  3. What difference did you notice doing this Dan?
  4. Diamonds Are Forever - Shrley Bassey
  5. Made in Italy combo 500w into 4ohms so about 300w through the combo itself. This is my backup amp but I don’t need anything more this powerful and I could use the space and money. I’m its third owner and I’ve used it on around 20 gigs and never got the master above about 9 o’clock. Previous owner said he only gigged a few times at low volume and its first owner only used it for a few church gigs so it’s had a pretty easy life. Full specs here, although it’s the current version which may not be exactly the same. But looks identical to me. https://www.markbass.it/product/cmd-102p/ £475 delivered to the UK, but would prefer collection or meet up in or around Hertfordshire or Essex. Obviously would cost a little less if no couriers are involved.

  8. These knobs. I think they tie things together nicely with their half black, half shiny nature.
  9. Martin bought my Ashdown RM 500 Evo II - super reliable and serious buyer, would totally recomment. Great comms, responsive and a lovely chap to deal with! Thanks Martin Ander.
  10. Love this! 😎👍
  11. Pardon my ignorance, but is this switchable active / passive or just active?
  12. Purchased the Ashdown RM500 EVO III from Ander What a true gentleman to deal with. Good communication, fast shipping and went the extra mile to make it happen Thank You
  13. @Byo Nice! I have never tried a Japanese Mustang, very very nearly purchased one last year. I'll have to try one though, my Player II has a much slimmer neck and that's really lovely to play, not that the JMJ isn't, but it is much much thicker. Nordstrand for the win! I put Nords in my JMJ 🫡
  14. Our singer has for years had a splitter from his mic receiver going to his IEM transmitter and the desk and relied on bleed for everything else. Having got a better Sennheiser system myself, read the manual, checked which system he has and checked its manual I’m suggesting he take his own aux feed and fun a mix of the bits he wants (no bv’s) in low focus mode. Got my new moulded plugs but for some reason I can’t get the cable to stay fixed so went back to my old set that have lasted 4 years and will do as spares in future. The new moulds have a bit more mould on them that should keep them in place better. They were a bit more expensive but spreading the cost over 4+ years is worth it IMO. The annoying part is fitting the cables to stay connected. Last set once fixed were good until I needed to replace the cable, then I couldn’t remove them 🤦🏼‍♂️
  15. OK missed FX loop and may be tad over budget: Is there something glaring I am still missing: just turned 71 2 days ago may no be as sharp as once was🙂

    Darkglass Anagram

I use the black usb cable that came with it and connect it to my iphone charger. That's what I use when I just bring the Anagram with me to gigs. The psu that came with it I had no issues but it felt flimsy
  19. I remember around 25 years ago part of the midas rep's sales pitch for the easy tilt console stand mentioned the presence of discrete compartments - Im not sure the keys he had in mind were the household kind though..............
  20. Does anyone use the supplied PSU, or another third party solution? I'm not a fan of wall-wart design PSU's and the included one looks a bit fragile. I don't really want to get a proper 'pedal-board' style brick either. I have this Mooer one kicking around somewhere that'll probably do the job, but I might look into something with a bit more juice, in case I want to run anything else with it at a later date.
  21. turned up today, amazing for £36!

  25. oh yeah definitely, it is a known fact that board gaps and empty spaces ruins tone and hinders you to play better. More gear is the only solution.
