  1. Past hour
  2. Burnin' Alive - AC/DC
  3. I'm liking "Stumpstock". I like it a lot.
  4. It appears to have been restored from a back-up dated January 23; I see no posts more recent than that. I don't think that new posts are going through, either. I just posted, but can't see it.
  5. They're only "experts" in what they like. We have people coming up and telling us we were great. That doesn't mean we were great, but that they liked the evenings entertainment. We did our job.
  6. Can’t believe nobody beat me to it. . . If this doesn’t sell, will you break it up for parts? 🤠
  7. Or of course Thick as a Brick - Jethro Tull….
  8. Quick question, I’m a mild eczema suffer which unfortunately affects my hands. When I have an outbreak, it can make my plucking fingers painful if the keens are in the wrong places (which they annoyingly usually are). For gigs, when necessary I have been using both the white microporous tape and regular flesh coloured Elastoplast, but it seldom lasts a full set. I’ve seen a few double bassists using finger tape, so I know I am not alone, but what tape are you/they using? Oh, and before anyone say’s “use a bow”, let me assure you the world is not ready for my bowing technique (or lack of)😂
  9. A straightforward solution: buy a loudness meter. Not so straightforward issues are that the space, and placement of the meter affect levels a lot. Any colourization from the surroundings may give awkward levels. Professionals make the first test with RTA to get rid of the unwanted colouring. Then the level can be easily matched with a relatively simple meter. No need to buy a B&K.
  10. It's not too bad - the bricks are glued. The evil "Kraggle" for those who've seen the Lego movie.
  11. Yep! Crazy lightweight for an Ash bodied Jazz.

    Darkglass Anagram

I’ve gigged it for a couple of weeks now on its own. It’s excellent. Even in its current form, although I do wish midi functionality had been sorted at launch. I much prefer the interface and sounds (for bass) compared to QC and stomp…. Like I’ve said before I’m absolutely aware you can dial in great sounds for both as I’ve had both but I just don’t want to sit and tinker. I’m going to dive into the NAM side of things next and see how that goes as the ones that are in the anagram as standard sound very good
  13. IIRC, marco said one is coming in that interview with IMA
  14. Poaches - The Stranglers
  15. Check that the pickups are passive before you take out the preamp, they most likely are but would be awful to take out the preamp to find that you needed it after all
  16. Love it!! ❤️
  17. Now £55 posted, but I won't be dropping any further.
  18. Check these two "analysis" videos too:
  19. Absolutely. Some of the Fender curios come with 100% genuine provenance. Like the slab board ones that are all documented.
  20. This is just so beautiful! 😯
  21. it's like a drug. I want to do more lol
  22. I’ve got a new band forming & wanted to upload a couple of song snippets online to seek other musicians & promote the music/band. So as I’ve done in the past, decided to create a soundcloud account for the band. Done! But it’s now limited to a 2 track upload for the free account (it used to be something like an hour of audio). So I’m looking to see what alternatives there are. Does anyone on here have experience with or use the likes of Bandcamp, Audiomack, Hearthis.at or any other platforms that they’d recommend or is it worth buying the Soundcloud subscription? Cheers.
