  2. It's worrying that no one wants to buy a profitable solvent business.
  3. Which one of those are you spending the most time with? Any more details you can share (e.g. line up / how often you're out gigging / how long the band has been going etc. ?)

  5. I had two of the ABM 210H cabs and they were excellent. Paired very nicely with the ABM600 GLWTS 👍
  6. Number of strings: 4 Number of frets: 20 Scale length: 34 Number of pickups: 1 Number of controls: 2
  7. Who's got an Alembic Series 2 then 🤔
  8. Here is a pretty much brand new Dingwall NG3 5 String. I've had this for 2 months, used it for 1 gig, and a couple studio session. Hands down the best 5 string bass I have ever player, but sadly not quite the right fit for me. The action is crazy low and yet the strings ring true and clear. Tone from this thing absolutely beastly. This has all the new upgrades Dingwall introduced this year: - Minimalist bridge - Smaller active/passive switch (for no snags and harder to knock by accident) - Neck binding - String bullets (individual string retainers) Finish is a gorgeous black with subtle sparkle. Matt finished knobs that seem to be rubberized, are super easy to grab mid gig and tweak away. I have all the original case and goodies, plus packaging so all good to get this shipped too - will be £35 to UK (contact me if needing shipped further afield and I can see what is possible). I am sure I will regret this - I was giddy after the one gig I played with it after the sense of ultimate low end power. But I know it will mostly sit in my studio unused for the various projects I am involved with. Feel free to get in touch with any questions.

  9. PM Sent, as someone who has 3 graphite necks and didn't think it was realistic to get any more with how rare they are now, this is brilliant!
  10. A really good sound going on there. Really good sound. I listened all the way through and enjoyed it. I had it full volume and it was not rough on the ears at all, and sounds huge.

Great stuff. Bass guitar worth noting on here too. Solid sound, and unique. Angry, but clear and thumpy. I like it.

      Thanks dude 😎

  11. Congratulations. Brilliant amps, wonderful sound, way more power than you imagine it should have. They sounded awesome back in the day and they still sound awesome now
  12. I sold mine (eventually) via this forum, during one of the lockdowns, for a lot less than the £404 I paid for it in 1994. Though it never failed to provide sufficient volume I definitely don't regret selling it; the weight was far too much.
  13. I had it up on eBay and fb but taken it down. Decided I’m not in a rush to sell so quite happy to keep it. Someone will come along at the right time. Cheers tho for the bump!
  14. I have made a start on Let It Roll but am knocking off for the night now so will finish it tomorrow. Blinding track.
  15. Change of plan. Who TF glues in a bolt on neck? Decided to detach the neck, mostly in a fit of pique. I'm knackered. 2 hours of... persuasion using a Japanese saw, a chisel, a Stanley knife, a blow torch (to heat up the Japanese saw once I sawed as deep as I could) and raw brute force and ignorance. What a fscking mess Gonna have to clean that neck pocket out with the router, then probably build it back with veneer. Also, I think the neck's had it - it's too springy - the string change pitch if it leans on something under its own weight. This does not bode well for future tuning stability. On the plus side, I managed not to damage the top wood of the body
  16. I like to keep things simple these days
  17. It’s okay, someone has started a new too trumps list now anyway 🤷‍♂️
  18. Excellent cabs these are.
  19. Great little cab SIM pedal with XLR out and thru port. Quick and easy to load and recall IRs. Has velcro on the bottom. Price includes UK postage. https://shop.hotoneaudio.com/products/omni-ir?srsltid=AfmBOopi3ArFUFryqxYVEzkyrXBmaNhRmgzbJ5g42nlMt8_bBx44r1P1

  21. Today
  22. I was wondering who'd be first to spot it. Well done. 😁
  23. jack bruce taught me that you do not have to play a fretless as a fretless.
  24. Blimey. They were distributing so many brands, all of which will be looking for new UK distributors. When I was in the trade they offered really long credit terms to retailers, it was a proper lifeline to keeping product on the shelves. This really isn’t good news for the small independents out there.
  25. An amazingly talented band. Dave
  26. Wow! Can’t believe. Hope this bump helps 🫡
