  3. For sale is my TecAmp 4 x10 Cab ( L 410 -4 ) comes with fitted Rock-solid cover Bought on here just over a year ago, to go with my TecAmp black Jag Amplifier. I have now acquired a TecAmp M212, which still matches my Amp and Band but fits my Car better. I bought this on the reputation of my old 4x12 Techsoundsystem cab i had previously and regretted selling some years back. Light for a 4 x 10 with Neodymium speakers. Just what is required for rock n pop - serious trouser flapping. Good over all condition, musically in good working order. Was previously fitted with Casters to bottom of cabinet, so some scuffing to underneath, but i have returned it to new large rubber feet. See Pics. Spec: Model L 410 - 4 4 ohm. 1200 watts 1" Horn selectable, Freq35 - 19000 Hz, W=64 H=72 D=41cm weight 25kg. As seen in Top photo the cab has been fitted with blue LED light behind grill. I have modified the connection to now have discrete phono L.V. connection to front grill. So the transformer and mains plug is separate. Collection Please......
  4. Second rehearsal with a group. I feel a little tricked into it, really. Told it was "rock", but ended up being 90% straight up blues rock...splitting hairs maybe. It isn't my thing at all, and not particularly enjoying it. They're unprepared and musically sloppy. . I'm almost certain that I won't continue. This makes me sad because I miss playing with people, but it doesn't *feel* right. Conundrum. Equipment wise, it was a Tech 21 VT Bass 500 head with a TC Electronic k 212 cab. It's louder than my usual Orange OBC115, but doesn't sound as warm. Bass was a Sire V5 (24 fret version). Pedalboard was tuner, Empress Bass Compressor and a Laney Digbeth DI pedal. I miss my stacked fuzz pedals.
  5. Enjoy, they are amazing basses and the colour is so much better in the flesh. Saying that, I'm probably going to sell mine. As I mentioned in my original post, I bought it as a backup to take to Glastonbury but ended up not needing to take a backup bass. So its just sat at home, unplayed as I am predominantly a fretless player. I'm also thinking of having a break from music at the end of the year and possibly retiring after 40 years so I'm going to sell on some basses and this is one that will be going up for sale soon. Its a shame as they are amazing basses but no point having it if I'm never going to play it.
  6. Up is my TRB1006J. Recently bought a high end 6 and can't justify keeping it. It's been well looked after and had a full service and a brand new barrel jack in June. The previous owner had a ramp installed (very well I might add), there is also dunlop straplocks installed, other than that its all original. I can post but I would prefer not to, I travel quite a bit so Im always happy to try and make a meet up work. Mainly after cash, but try me for trades. Thanks
  7. It’s a Avantguard I have just bought it of Walshy top man.
  8. Next gig for us is our first proper headlining one: Friday 19th September at Liquid Light in Nottingham. Supports from St Lucifer and Joshua Todd. Doors are at 7.00 with free entry.
  9. New ABM 300. Quick ABM update. Got the new one from yesterday. Much more quite. Very slight sound where you know it's on, but that's it. Nothing like the buzzing before. Just it time to grab it for rehearsal using the same Jbass I used Sunday for a good comp. Noticeably more mids (nothing honky), just more punch, and noticeably not as big sounding as the older 500 in the lows. A little brighter as well. More tube sound as well on the 300. Sounded great. I like big, thick bass so I'll have to do some different EQing, but will have to do so in a way that I don't cover up that nice punch. Normally I have the shape (scoop) disengaged and the bass may be flat or 1:30 at the most depending on the bass. I was more at 2:30 by the end of rehearsal. Great sounding head.
  10. No worries - I’m in my 50s and I’m definitely struggling with keeping sharp!

  12. What difference did you notice doing this Dan?

  14. Made in Italy combo 500w into 4ohms so about 300w through the combo itself. This is my backup amp but I don’t need anything more this powerful and I could use the space and money. I’m its third owner and I’ve used it on around 20 gigs and never got the master above about 9 o’clock. Previous owner said he only gigged a few times at low volume and its first owner only used it for a few church gigs so it’s had a pretty easy life. Full specs here, although it’s the current version which may not be exactly the same. But looks identical to me. https://www.markbass.it/product/cmd-102p/ £475 delivered to the UK, but would prefer collection or meet up in or around Hertfordshire or Essex. Obviously would cost a little less if no couriers are involved.

  17. These knobs. I think they tie things together nicely with their half black, half shiny nature.
  18. Martin bought my Ashdown RM 500 Evo II - super reliable and serious buyer, would totally recomment. Great comms, responsive and a lovely chap to deal with! Thanks Martin Ander.
  19. Love this! 😎👍
  20. Pardon my ignorance, but is this switchable active / passive or just active?
  21. Purchased the Ashdown RM500 EVO III from Ander What a true gentleman to deal with. Good communication, fast shipping and went the extra mile to make it happen Thank You
  22. @Byo Nice! I have never tried a Japanese Mustang, very very nearly purchased one last year. I'll have to try one though, my Player II has a much slimmer neck and that's really lovely to play, not that the JMJ isn't, but it is much much thicker. Nordstrand for the win! I put Nords in my JMJ 🫡
  23. Our singer has for years had a splitter from his mic receiver going to his IEM transmitter and the desk and relied on bleed for everything else. Having got a better Sennheiser system myself, read the manual, checked which system he has and checked its manual I’m suggesting he take his own aux feed and fun a mix of the bits he wants (no bv’s) in low focus mode. Got my new moulded plugs but for some reason I can’t get the cable to stay fixed so went back to my old set that have lasted 4 years and will do as spares in future. The new moulds have a bit more mould on them that should keep them in place better. They were a bit more expensive but spreading the cost over 4+ years is worth it IMO. The annoying part is fitting the cables to stay connected. Last set once fixed were good until I needed to replace the cable, then I couldn’t remove them 🤦🏼‍♂️
  24. OK missed FX loop and may be tad over budget: Is there something glaring I am still missing: just turned 71 2 days ago may no be as sharp as once was🙂
