REPRICED TO £1500 THIS WEEK Selling this lovely bass with a heavy heart. Gigged a couple of times but mostly used for Studio work. As much as I want to keep it, I need to sell this beauty as we are expecting our baby#2 and I just paid for my ILR Visa so needing to recoup some funds. Bought new from BassDirect this June. No mods, only thing I changed are the strings to La Bella Low Tension Flats. Bass weighs at 3.9kgs. I sold the original gig bag thinking I would never sell it but life happens so yeah. For collection only at SW19 area so please bring your own Gig bag/case. Willing to sell it with the Mono Vertigo for an additional £150 if needed. Collection only at SW19 or can meet somewhere in London on schedule. Any questions, feel free to message me.

Disappointing new bass day...I would appreciate some opinions.
Russ replied to N64Lover's topic in Bass Guitars
I would be disappointed if that turns out to be the case, mostly because I've not encountered anything like that from them. But I've never found them difficult to deal with, other than the language barrier (mein Deutsch ist nicht ser gut) and I've not seen any of their stuff with these sorts of problems before. -
Flipping basses for profit – fair game or not cool?

Oh I do... but, only with those sellers/members that I know to be relatively trustworthy! I've met a good number of the BC higher operators in person and never really had any issues, I once had a problem with a Mesa I bought from a well known member, and they were absolutely superb in terms of communication and eventual resolution. If buying from a newbie, then yes, I'd expect no more or less security than on eBay etc. but veterans of the site are, for the most part (except me, I'm a terrible human and those that have met me will confirm!) are, by in large, to be trusted more so than those you have no bearing on. -

Nope, the hardware looks wrong to me. Besides, I've played quite a few Ooshyks and I've never seen any with these sorts of problems. Besides, N64Lover said he requested a Jazzmaster-style bass and they hadn't done one like that, and Maruszczyk do the Mopped, which is very much a Jazzmaster/Jaguar shape (albeit with the controls in a more conventional place). The colour looks a lot like their Green Valley metallic finish, though. (disclaimer - I own two Maruszczyks ) -
Epiphone EB3 SG Bass in lovely cherry red finish This is the long scale version 34" scale no dings or noticeable scratches or gouges looks and plays great , DIY mirrored scratch plate (can be removed) i prefer the look of the bass without a pickguard. This has also been fitted with a strap button adapter This balances the bass perfectly and eliminates the notorious Epiphone/ Gibson neck dive this too can be removed if preferred, but it does make the bass much more comfortable to play The Rosewood fretboard has been stained to look like ebony(looks much nicer)see the difference in the pictures. Only selling due to upgrading to a new Gibson Model. unfortunately i don't have a spare case for this so would prefer pick up.from Cambs pe285ap

Nice one Nekomatic. It’s slow and steady here for me, little bit often. I had an interesting breakthrough/revelation earlier. I was working on adding the b9 to a dominant 7. So, playing along with a looped chord on iReal, I’m playing all the variations of the arpeggio and then I wanted to try adding other notes from outside the arpeggio. My ear finally led me to playing a half step/whole step scale - so (over D7b9) it was D Eb F Gb Ab A B C. I’ve practiced this before but never ‘got’ it. My ear was doing the work and it began to make sense. I hope it still seems this way tomorrow!

Bought from geoff90guitar from here - I've had a fret level, and had the edges rounded off (though Reverend claim a plex process, the ends were still bit rough and not to the exacting specs of my luthier pal) also replaced the nut with a new bone nut - and set up with TI flats - so spent a bit of it so just asking for what i paid and put into it but still huge saving so price set to sell - it's just not for me and have just bought a lovely P off here (i'm just traditional it seems) See small body ding in pics Big, deep and punchy with excellent clarity is the calling card of the Mercalli. The innovative passive pickups have that vintage warmth, while the five-piece neck and high mass bridge deliver modern punch and sustain! Just had full set up and fret level with fret edges smoothed off and brand new bone nut. TI flats on it too with low action but no buzzing - small ding pictured Very ergonomic to play and only 8lb in weight so very easy in the shoulder SPECS BODY Korina Solidbody PICKUPS Thick Brick Bridge, Split Brick Neck BRIDGE String-thru-body or Top-load, 3/4" spacing NECK 5-Piece Maple/Walnut, Satin Amber Finish SCALE 34" NECK PROFILE Medium Oval FINGERBOARD Roasted Maple or Rosewood, 12" Radius FRETS 21 - 0.110"W x 0.050"H TRUSS ROD Dual Action, Headstock Access TUNERS Hipshot Ultralight, 1/2" Dia. This is my brand new replacement SGT-DI from Ampeg as first unit had minor fault but parts were taking so long they sent a new unit. it’s just got too many bells and whistles for me and don’t need all the cab sims etc. I’m a simple player, too many choices overwhelms but having a SVT and B15 in one box is great. Also that driven tube sound is fab. poss trade for top end compressor/di - Cali etc

I used this as a very high end practice amp. I would run a bluetooth adaptor into the Aux in and it just sounds great. The mojo control is very unique sounding and can add a huge phatness to your tone. Works great as a DI, headphone amp, IEM mixer, 1/4 in or XLR out of a nice tube DI For more information https://www.cranborne-audio.com/camdenec1

Something like this? I have no idea about the dimensions, but this slips under the screw in feet. The screw in feet lock this down, no changes to the Elf, no warranty issues. It then slides into the base I designed for the Gnome. The height of it should be less than the height of the rubber feet. This is not to scale, it's 5 mins work in Fusion 360. I thought about it walking the dog. The principle would work for anything with screw in feet. They can be staggered or in odd places. Rob

I don't think you'll be disappointed, I'm over the moon with mine. I nearly went for the bigger Monaco, but I'm glad I went for the Monza, I really am.

I've actually had more trouble with items bought on here than on any other marketplace : short paid, warped necks, bridges hanging off, chipped paintwork, bulging frets and knackered electronics, sellers not turning up to meets etc. I've had lots of positive experiences too, but the BC marketplace doesn't give me a warm fuzzy glow like it did in the beginning. I don't expect the sellers on here to behave any different than those anywhere else from experience, there are some good and some bad.
