I really want to keep this but have a few projects at home that need attention so looking to shed a few bits. Wicked pedal with knight fall, tarkin and T65 Octaver. All with individual clean blends, plus a master blend, and a master on/off switch. Effects stack in parallel for an absolute wall of awesomeness. Controls are really intuitive and easy to navigate. Velcro on underside, really wicked artwork. It's a wonderful pedal. I'll wrap box and post carefully. Any questions please shout. Selling cheaper than purchased, price includes postage second class. Can meet between Kettering, Bedford, Stevenage, Farnham areas of UK, or pass to my singer in north London... Drummer west London.... Blurb from cog website: Hellraiser" Custom Bass Multi-Effects Grand Tarkin Bass Fuzz, Knightfall Distortion and T-65 Octave all in parallel. Four level controls for mixing Dry signal, with only one ever active depending on which combination of effects are selected. This is very much an expansion on the concept of the T-65 Octave and parallel sub octave in general. Artwork is an adaptation of the Puzzle Box from the 1987 film Hellraiser, with oversized Moog-style knobs to finish things off.

MultiFX. All the modern units have enough presets to allow setting up for a (long) pre-determined set list. I almost never adjust the rig on the fly.

I had the pleasure to see Dom Martin and his band yesterday at Haus Eifgen/Germany. As the band played open air on a small stage with great sound it was a perfect summer evening. Being only a hobby player I was blown away by Ben Graham playing the bass. The way he changes from steady, unobtrusive grooving to virtually exploding instrumental dialogues with Dom Martin´s guitar still gives me shivers down my spine. Unfortunately I don´t know the drummer´s name. He complemented the whole gig perfectly. I had the luck to see three real great musicians !!

Hi there I'm Kev, living up in the Granite City and just starting out as a player. I've waited too many years (decades, in fact) to pick up the bass but am enjoying my beginner journey immensely, although progress is slow - aiming for accuracy rather than speed! I've already had a positive forum experience in purchasing from the classifieds (many thanks @rainbowreality ) and look forward to learning much more here. Hello to all!

Purchased a compressor pedal from Paul (rainbowreality) and it arrived very promptly, packaged well enough to withstand a volley and in as-new condition. I'm a noob here on the forum and this was a very positive first experience all round. Paul was a pleasure to deal with, very quick responses and detailed comms. Highly recommended seller, two thumbs up! 👍👍

I’ve been in bands where it’s been other members only band and they still haven’t practiced between rehearsals. It’s not always about the number of bands that distracts people from preparing and rehearsing, it’s just laziness and poor attitude. It’s your time and money they're wasting Mickey. Maybe you and your guitarist should seek other opportunities with like minded musicians? Good luck.

While we're on the subject of Hobgoblin, a shout out to their London branch. Took my Albanian cifteli there as I couldn't work out how to restring it. The setup guy went through a bunch of different strings until he found one that would hold the tension. Forty minutes of his time and half a dozen strings. He charged me a not unreasonable £1.80, the cost of the banjo string that finally did the job.

Band members in other bands
hiram.k.hackenbacker replied to Mickeyboro's topic in General Discussion
Are these other projects more interesting/lucrative though? If so, I struggle to see why they turn up at the one that apparently isn't? Some people are just bone idle and there's no motivating them. I manage that by not being in the same room with them. If you can see my sig, you'll see that I'm in four bands and dep in two others. Most of the people I work with are the same. The one thing they all have in common is they love playing the music. Without that, you're on the back foot from the start. As @Lozz196 said, dedication + application and turn up with your game face on every time. -
