  1. Past hour
  2. Hi @mattpbass, that looks exactly like what I need, I'm gonna look into it. I'm pretty handy with Garage Band and I have an audio interface, but as you say the stitching is a faff. Many thanks
  3. Even though this is a year old and you are still looking for them, drop me a line with accurate dimensions and and I'll print some for free Rob
  4. I use a BC208 Cab with a Warwick Gnome 300 and it sounds incredible. I'm interested in actually trying one of the little TCE heads with it but the Warwick sounds so good, I'm reluctant to make a change.
  5. Mu-tron Octavider + Pedal Mutron octaver and fuzz in one pedal with a ring modulator option too. It’s a nice neat little unit and runs off a pedalboard or 9v power supply - not included. This is from the recent Mutron reissue series of pedals. Construction is of a very high quality. Excellent working condition - one cosmetic chip to the paint on fascia. Comes boxed with manual. See link below to see how it works with bass. You can get some nice synth and grungy sounds with it. I bought it on a whim to try it out however as much as I like it I’m more of a keyboard/synth player than a person who uses pedals so it’s been left unplayed. UK postage included. No trades. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UVfz-OGn974
  6. Quite possibly the most under-priced bass in the entire history of Basschat, I had three offers to buy this bass with 30 mins of listing it, and the deal was completed within the first hour. Reckon I'll start adding 20% onto all my listings in future. 😂😂😂
  7. I've recently commisioned a Rickenbacker 4003. It's awesome and it says Rickenbacker on it I really don't care I have one of my U2 basses made from parts and the neck says Fender Jazz bass, in the old fashioned TV logo (but it has dots, so obviuosly wrong) There's not really a right answer unless you're trying to rip somebody off
  8. For sale is my Sonicake Super Master. Fully working, mint condition, complete with box. The Super Master is a Mini Clean Boost Pedal with a Buffer and +12dB gain. I bought this a simple boost pedal to boost harmonics and lead bass parts and it works really well. Based in Camberley and collection is welcome or can be packaged securely and posted.
  9. This is sooooo much overkill that I can't imagine when anyone would need that much power*. Of course, I want it! I have no use for it, nowere to keep it but my heart wants it badly! GLWTS *this is just my lack of imagnation. Of course, this would be very useful in many situations.
  10. For sale is my Ampeg Opto Compressor. Fully working, in mint condition complete with box. This is a wonderful optical compressor which is very musical and just sprinkles some sort of magic on your tone. I already have one of these on another pedalboard and they are so good that I bought this second one for my other pedalboard. I am no longer using that pedalboard and so this is now up for sale. These also work brilliantly with fretless bass and I wouldn't dream of gigging without one. Based in Camberley and collection is welcome or it can be securely packaged and posted.
  11. In this case it was a pub. Fairly narrow long bar room packed with punters.
  12. The other obvious advantages of the FI over the MXR: - input gain - 99 presets, in banks of 10 (sure, I get that is overkill for many) - two stomp switches - display The FI v4 VIP has a pedal-board friendly format not too far off what the MXR delivers My tuppence worth, if I may, if Andreas wants to stay in the game with the advent of the MXR Two obvious improvements to suggest: - improved display. Boss stole a lead on this some while ago - please check their 200 series => can label patches with words and not just numbers. "Chaka Khan" is so much easier to remember than "#06"! - load patches 1 - 10 with popular cover band patches Marketing: Why aren't there any decent YT clips of bass-players using the FI v4 VIP live in a band in the way that Paddy has just posted?
  13. I’ve only just found this thread and felt I should jump in. I’ve got a through-neck Jazz 5.
  14. BassAgent

    Jazz

Jazz numberrrrrr nine? I think? I've stopped counting.
  15. Selling my trusty ‘reggae’ bass which has served me well. Being headless Its a true lightweight 5 string at just under 8lbs and sounds thunderous with the GHB flats on the bass - can be changed to rounds if preferred. The upgraded pickups to Aguilar makes this bass really sing - whilst I primarily used it for deeper sounds it does other genres exceptionally well with a great slap tone. The action is buzz free and very low and it plays and sounds really well. Comes with the Ibanez gig bag. Just simply a great bassbut surplus now and is waisted being a wall ornament. Maybe interested in a Fender Lyte bass, 800w+ head in part trade or a Markbass NY151 cab otherwise I'll let this go for a bargain £625 with the Aguilars or £525 with the original Bartolini’s fitted. Stickers are easily removable although the BMW one is very rare 😉Price includes UK courier or will knock some off for collection from Plymouth.
  16. PHWWOOOOOAAAAR look at that!. The is a stunner
  17. Same experience with the Fullertons. I tried a 58 P bass, I genuinely thought the more recent Classic MIM 50's were better. For me, if you want an original but on a budget, you cant beat the 80's MIJ reissues
  18. For sale is my MXR Bass Octave Deluxe. Fully working and in mint condition but no box I'm afraid. Comes with two types of octave, Growl which is more like the classic OC-2 style or Girth which is a more smooth deeper style. Both very usable and can be blended for a mix of both. Also has a mids boost/cut switch. Collection is welcome from Camberley or can be packaged securely and posted.
  19. Sold Mick a book. Excellent comms and no problems. Top man to deal with.
  20. Luxury! Why, when I were a lad ...
  21. Very decent piece of rack gear, equally suitable for studio or live use (I've used it both ways). The two multi-way cable clips on top are there by self-adhesive stuff and will remove. I found them useful enough to choose to leave them there for the new owner. The original box is present, as seen in the photos, but not the polystyrene inserts. I'll use bubble wrap for postage.
