I'm just home from a gig, I'm 69 next week and I love it as much as I did when I first gigged age 21. We played to a full house today, the band played pretty well and getting the youngsters up dancing knows it has gone OK. Long may it last.

Great venue, always a good gig there

Fender Made in Japan Hybrid II Jazz Bass - Vintage Natural. In fantastic condition, I canβt see any marks on this at all. Imported from Japan in September last year and only used a few times, so selling and hoping someone else gets better use. Cost over Β£1000 including shipping and import duties. I switched out the pick guard from the original tortoiseshell to mint green, however I still have the original (unmarked) and can include if preferred. The last picture shows the bass as new for reference.

The neck profile is really comfortable, too: Slender side to side, chunky front to back, the latter then again being somewhat remedied by the tiny vintage frets, which Iβll personally choose over jumbos any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Which it is, and I did, I guess.

Anyone have the Supergrass article from Bass Player?
super al replied to umcoo's topic in General Discussion
During the peak of Britpop and whilst at Edinburgh festival, my girlfriend at the time and I met up with her posh family (over from the Cayman Islands!). Her posh auntie said to me "are you a fan of Blur or Oasis?" "I'm more into Supergrass really" I say...a great conversation killer π I'm glad @Bagman found a copy, I was about to crawl into the loft space where there's a pile of Bass magazines and spiders π I'm sure Mick Quinn is in there somewhere. -

I sold a cab to Freddie. A super smooth sale. Great comms throughout and he even offered to put down a deposit. Happy to recommend to the BC community

Those are wonderful. I have an older Ray , big chunky neck , G string is slightly soft , classic 3 band eq and I keep it close to the couch so itβs handy to pick up.
