  2. I visited the o2 for the first time at the weekend to watch fitness panto “gladiators live” with the family. We sat opposite where the stage would be. Honestly, it felt too big. If I saw a band, I’d have to get floor tickets and get within 50 yards of the stage, otherwise I just wouldn’t bother.
  3. ^^^^^ Just a follow-up to my above 'Spitfire Audio' post. I downloaded the library, and it came in at just under 6 gigs. It does sound very nice, but beware...The articulations are very limited and only consist of two variations on the instruments - Just Longs and shorts. The rest of the articulations are in demo mode with just one playable note. I have quite a substantial amount of SA libraries, so of course, I'm not part of the target audience. But sound wise, like I said, it does sound nice and authentic and may well be of use to many.
  4. Thanks mate. Just to stop people misusing it for nefarious reasons. Probably not really necessary on an old Musicmaster.
  5. Various Source Audio midi adapters etc: 1. Midi Neuro Hub. Control Source Audio pedals via the control inputs and a midi controller. In box with extra TRRS cables but no mini usb cable. £50 posted to you in the UK 2. Two SA midi adapters, Converts MIDI to the control input on the back of a SA pedal. With appropriate cables. £25 each posted to you in the UK 3. Source Audio tap tempo switch. With 1/4" output to work with just about anything and a TRRS 1/8" to work with control inputs on SA pedals. £25 posted to you in the UK
  6. A very versatile MIDI controller. Programmable via usb from a pc/mac. Does the lot. Can chuck in a few short MIDi cables. A few slight scuffs but all is in working order. £100 posted to you in the UK

  7. The legendary Source Audio Atlas Compressor. I've had this about a year and I love it, however I've gone to the Dark(glass) side so it's now redundant. Any compressor you want and fully controllable with midi. Complete with original box, psi, control cable and USB cable. £170 posted to you in the UK
  8. Been a while... any updates @MichaelDean
  9. Not the usual lightweight Eich rig last weekend; played a festival in Leipzig (Germany) and the organisation provided an amp. But I did bring the Eich head It was LOUD.
  10. There's also a didactic purpose behind the suites which I think Bach had. The first four suites increase in difficulty, the fifth introduces a scordatura, and the sixth adds another string in the treble! By the way, here's my favourite Bach performance. It's on the 5-string piccolo cello by a student:
  11. Thanks, that's very reassuring to hear, and I know how well you know Spector basses! . Especially considering that, generally speaking, I tend to leave conventional boost and cut active EQ circuits flat anyway, I will probably go for another Euro, maybe a Doug Wimbish. That has got a rosewood board, maple body and different pickups to the CST, so might be audibly different in tone. I'll have a think about that.

  13. I spotted this: https://www.thefoamshop.co.uk/Polyester-fiber-Dacron/POLYESTER-FIBRE-DACRON Looks similar to this Barefaced Cab: Do the job do you think?

  16. If we’re asking a mythical figure for unobtainable things can I have a 1959 Jazz Bass?
  17. Great set up. Ran exactly the same rig for a few years pre covid. GLWTS
  18. Richard bought an MXR M87 compressor from me. Friendly comms, quick payment and an all round pleasure to deal with! Highly recommended!
  19. Breaks my heart but due to a roof repair this rather lovely Sadowsky bass needs to go😔 Bought new 1 month ago and has sat in it's case unplayed. Completely new! I updated the pickup covers but will include the black ones in the sale. Bass will be securely packaged. Includes sadowsky soft case. Colour is stunning, candy orange with roasted neck and board. Any questions, please message me Free postage

  20. Ooooooh. I've got plenty of ideas! 1. Darkglass Anagram 2. Mortrix MIDI controller 3. Boss FV-1W 4. Harley Benton Spaceship 40 (to fit the above on!) 5. Dingwall D-Roc 5 string I'm sure that'd all fit under the tree 😂
  21. My cousin (bass player) has got his too. He’s massively excited by the whole thing and that makes me happy.
