  2. Hi all! Here we have my Markbass Little Mark IV, purchased new from Andertons in August 2023. Still with box and bumf. 500w at 4 ohm and 300w at 8 ohm load. Features the revised 4-band EQ with a more usable frequency points than previous models. Bi-band limiter. 3 way switch for Flat, scooped, or foot switch setting. Old school filter (pretty much all I used). Head has a very sweet, clean and full range sound, with that trademark midrange (if required) -super refined tone IMO, and it paired very well with my MB cab. Is in excellent condition and unmarked apart from where I had some Markbass stickers on the top of the amp, which have *slightly* discoloured the black top, although this could just be glue and fade away. I've barely done that many gigs on this (probably 8-10 at most), as I reverted back to my TC head due to it having a tuner and adjustable compressor (and less bothered taking it to dodgy bars etc) so has been sat in a bag most of the time I've had it. Collection from Moreton in Marsh or happy to meet up/handover. However, I can post this if needs be for postage cost. Any questions, fire away! Thanks for looking!
  3. All 4, and thanks for the offer but I'd rather muller some Musiclily knockoffs than some OG knobs because I'm going to be making press fit knobs work with solid shaft pots
  4. Also at TFF on Sunday The Luke Jackson Trio were pretty damn good.
  5. How many do you need? I’m sure I have a couple
  6. This is good advice - try a battery
  7. This board is doing what I require atm. A Bright Onion 3 button aux switch is on its way though.
  8. Look at these 3 rear headstocks and the discrepancy between the tuners linked to defective cutting presses. Some even have that step on the lower side, when some don't, and some are a mix of these features. And one have 3 tuners with this feature, but not the 4. That said, it's very interesting! Thanks again @wateroftyne, really!
  9. Bought Carl's FlyRig v2, top man to deal with, very pleased with the FlyRig and the transaction. 👍
  10. Hi all! Here we have my Markbass Pure 2x10 cab. Purchased from new from Thomann in August 2023. 400w power handling 2x10 speakers Hi-Fi 'pure' tweeter - this is a bit snappier than the tweeter in the energy series. A scarcely believable 10.5kg in weight, which is the reason I purchased it. It's an easy one hand lift and a saviour for those of us with dodgy backs. Has that typical Markbass sound - fat, detailed with a very clear midrange. I've used this with my Little Mark IV and probably got the best live tone I've ever had from a cab. Easily loud enough for most venues up to mid-size. Selling because I'm moving over to DI through PA and a smaller (and far less fun) monitor. More or less unmarked and as new aside from some slight foot marks where my Little Mark sat on the carpet lining on top. Collection from Moreton in Marsh, or will drive a fairly sizeable distance for handover/meet up, as my feedback attests. No offers please. Any further questions, please ask! Thanks for looking! Simon
  11. Yours is a newer one, takes care of the A.. I put one on an Arai Jazz And Similar...
  12. Quite a change from a high end bass to a simple J.
  13. Wonderfulness my back says no though (very much at the stage where my body and I disagree on most things) Glwts, classic
  14. Good shout, I'll take a look! Thank you!
  15. I recently bought a Broughton Subsonic and Buffer Bandwidth Amplifier from Mike. The communication was great, and the pedals arrived quickly and were as described/pictured. I can't fault the transaction at all. Thanks!
  16. I think you’re right. I had a 76 Precision which had an accident and took off part of the front part of the headstock. It split along the grain and was easily stuck back. But supposing this happened on a tour ( the schedules back then were torturous) no opportunity to get it to a luthier or even get to a shop for some wood glue. May also explain why he switched to the Gibson bass or that might have just been following the fashion for semis in the 60s.
  17. Decided to go a bit stupid with some upgrades. Anyone able to hazard a guess as to which hipshot tuners would be the easiest replacements? Im looking at the technical drawings but im about as technically minded as a rock
  18. Several bands and solo artists last Sunday, at Tredegar house folk festival. Ending the night, was the brilliant Steve Knightly. TFF is a small festival, with lots of free acts and world / folk dancing troupes - which is always entertaining. You can spend 3 days watching/ listening to mostly unknown artists for free. There's a good CAMRA real ale & cider bar, and a small selection of festival type food. On the Saturday & Sunday, there was also an arts, crafts & food market, which was probably around 30 stalls. Having seen Steve with Show of Hands as a duo, trio and 4 piece, he's also really good as a solo act. Very entertaining, even when he had some real tuning problems with his guitar. As usual he played 4 or 5 instruments. He did a great, slow version of the Waterboys "Fisherman's Blues"
  19. First one I looked at does 😃 https://reverb.com/uk/item/87116534-1964-fender-precision-bass-pre-cbs-vintage-bass-sherwood-green-riggio-w-paperwork-case
  20. Check by yourself, there are plenty examples and I even had great difficulties finding one with four stepped tuners in line.
  21. I'd agree with all the above, except G4M's base offerings. I've had several pupils turn up with them, and the bodies usually weigh so much that they generate their own gravity & I end up spending about half an hour setting them up to make them even half playable. Not recommended.
  22. I noticed that @PaulThePlug ‘s HB50 had a Fender style string tree. Indeed so does the stock picture on Thomann’s website. Mine looks like this.
  23. Oh yes - definitely this...
  24. No it's still available!
  25. I run 2 One10's on small gigs with an Aguilar TH500 or AG700, and they sound much better than the One10 in this clip.
  26. Mixed sets? Got any examples?
