  2. Whodunnit? - Genesis
  3. now posted in the thread , fantastic bass
  4. My tip of the day is... Keep the truss covers removed. I'm always adjusting truss rods, 1/8th of a turn here, tiny tweak there.
  5. I had that model amp 20 years ago, and the Electroluminescent panels were notoriously unreliable. I had mine fixed once, then completely replaced with an NOS panel the repair guy (a former Trace employee) had available. If the panel itself has gone then you may just have to put up with it never working, but it might possibly be the control circuit. Good luck
  6. I actually prefer a direct sale, but it always depends. Maybe you can send me your ideas via pm.
  7. Enjoying this progress.
  8. It's Guitars to Go in Guildhall St A proper old fashioned guitar shop.
  9. Yes I have a small pile of manuals in 'interesting' English. It's slightly simplified as it seems most cheap PAR cans use the same protocol (internal controller chip?) One small mercy... despite online reviews saying it's not so, and not being in the manuals, pressing enter after setting the dmx address saves it to memory even on cheap PARs.
  10. Omg … when the transfer folded over??? Disaster. Every bloody time
  11. This is a crazy bargain. I use a couple of BC210's and I'm miles away but someone should get on this.
  12. To second Beedster's excellent points... As someone who has bought a neck without tuners (funnily enough exactly the same neck as you are selling - lovely neck if you like em chunky, ) I would not do it again as it is indeed a pain and quite an expense to get it sorted and even after measuring the holes I had to add some plumbers tape to get them to fit snugly. Even if you stick some bog standard ones on, it makes it something someone can use straight away and wait until they find better tuners if they want.
  13. This would be a lot of fun to play live
  14. Up for sale - an Electro Harmonix 24v Bass MicroSynth. Full of analog goodness. Not just good - good for you!! If you're looking at this, you know what it does. Definitely leagues better sounding, and feeling, than the smaller 9V versions. Hard to put a price on this - some insane £900+ prices on eBay. Quite a few in the £600-800 range. I think £325 plus postage is more sensible.

  15. Cheers! Yeah, if I were still gigging regularly, I'd be clinging on to this amp. But I'll be keeping my Little B*ast*rd 30 for recording - probably my joint favourite with the CTM-100! - so I can't really justify keeping both of them.

  20. Bang Bang (my baby shot me down) - Nancy sinatra
  21. Ive found cheaper wall hangers do the job just fine mechanically but the rubber/foam can stain necks and leave very stubborn residue, that is all I'd be cautious of
  22. Love me two times. The Doors
