I was fortunate to play plenty of these back in the day as Barrett's in Manchester had the distribution deal (I think). The shop was full of Wals. They had so many that one weekend, they were offering a Sunn bass amp with every Wal. I was penniless. The re-furb looks stunning - what a fabulous instrument. I genuinely prefer these to the customs (I've owned of few) in pretty much every way. Brilliant job and brilliant that Paul was able to undertake the work - and so quickly

Jam Rattler and DOD FX 91 Bass OD for sale Rattler is a great RAT clone for Bass with a really useful blend dial to keep the bottom end in. Load of online demos on YouTube. I've got the original box and packaging with this one. There's not a scratch on it. FX 91 is the first Bass fx I ever bought from good old AI music in Manchester on Oxford Road. Rattler is £145 posted royal mail (recorded). DOD FX 91 is 55 posted (recorded) Both have large velcro strip on the back but easily removed. No trades thanks. For collection in south Manchester knock a fiver off each price.

ETS Tuning Fork Bass 5 Big (brass material) Rounded chrome, 18 mm strings spacing. Beware that the saddles were modified by a previous owner to go lower (but are working perfectly as is for standard B to G tuning, or you can interchange them to go lower on the treble side, or turn them upside down to start from fresh). The shining chrome bridge plate is new and has never been fitted, only the satin chrome saddles were modified. It can be used for stringing through the body. Check my ads. NO TRADES! NON NEGOTIABLE PRICE! Asking price including fully insured shipping with tracking number, to your home, in these European countries (ask for other countries): Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France (excluding French overseas territories), Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom: €80 EUR (£90 GBP is an approximation and I will only accept payment in Euros) and, as it will be asked, the new price is around €200 and they are very hard to source. Shipping to the UK is of course possible and included in my asking price, but with additional customs charges (VAT + other taxes + courier costs), as the UK is now outside the EU, just send me a PM. In perfect working order and brand new condition for the plate, only the saddles have been used on a different bridge. As I've stopped playing bass and focusing on piano only, I'm selling surplus to requirement. I’d stick with it Daryl but start looking for other opportunities and/or deps. Seems you’re still getting regular work with the current gig so go with the flow.

Unless you need the extra functions of the Wing, I would stay with the XR18. It’s not my favourite mixer but if it works for you it saves the hassle of learning a new board. Once you go up a step like that the extra functions can take a lot of time to master unless you go on a training course. That can cost almost the price of a new mixer. If you are minded to change, look at the AH ranges, but again learning curve and £££. Do a cost benefit analysis.
