What's the next collectable on the second hand marketthen?
Doctor J replied to la bam's topic in General Discussion
Buying a new Fender is a gamble 😂 We're at the point in time where superb instruments made by the likes of Hamer, Ibanez, Warwick, Jackson/Charvel and many more have reached vintage status. Like I said, a bit of nous can get you into the vintage world for not much money and get you a superb instrument too. -

Sorry Brian! I reckon if I hadn't bought, someone else would have snapped it up though. Cheers.

Origin Effects BassRig Ampeg B15 Fliptop recreation
Quatschmacher replied to Quatschmacher's topic in Effects
Yes, but do they split these up into say three separate layers? There were pictures of an earlier prototype (which may or may not have been the same project) where it was smaller and they said it had sprouted and extra board. So this might be that but all put onto a single board for now. Or this could be an amp head. - Today

Rare chance to get a Kay, if that's your thing....

About £1000 maybe? The Musima bass I use cost me £500 and needed a new bridge, endpin and nut and is now a wonderful instrument. It’s not a complex sound and you’d not want to bow it, but for amplified work, travelling in a van and playing 50 odd gigs a year inside and out and in all weathers, it’s ideal. -

Billy nomates made the test and I changed from there Hertz to the picture inside and I thank this girl Billy for making the way these sounds feel Earlier today the broken social scene brought to my mind as I walked long a path and saw up ahead a person coming down, and I imagined humanity's birth from one single cell, itself come from an earlier one celled big bang, from these births and others Consciousness split up into many different paths and coming in line with me now is some stranger from this lot and I can feel this thought most palpably as I walk down the path in the light from the sun and I see the person in line with me from the corner of my eye. And the scene's packaged their sounds shampoo suicide; it’s unclear to me why DI and AI are one and the same has me thinking an idea june video sonically born from chanel beads The most accurate prognosticators are those which state the end is near and before then there's change, and so I got to thinking I might just try the best that I can to try the best that I can and this birth came born atop friendlies tess parks n'anton newcombe We know a replica is no different from the real thing for we know when we speak to a replica of consciousness there's no way to tell the difference. Perhaps I need to hear more about those forms from Plato, because they only exist for me now as a replica of a memory as death mask death in Vegas plays it's digital sounds in my ears When I'm told that if I stop being real to me than I stop being real, I'm told so in sound coded words by Jackie Leven telling me bout the sexual loneliness of Jesus Christ and I find his jib is cut with a weirdness I funk with Life inevitably gets more difficult to handle for our youngsters for they're closer to the death of our species… might one call it an act of being dropped on by atoms of peace to be shown what someone's being honest with themself looks like with words? One imagines one speaking aloud: let it be read for the record that I do believe the weights for consideration for the environment and slowness of progress were satisfactorily valued and may whoever acts on being told to strike that from the record be found guilty of inhumanity. I personally think new review site is better as in he also opens up the compressor so you can see inside.

Yeah. Unless there was a serious issue with it, surely an allen key & screwdriver would have sorted that out?

I agree with @lemmywinks , I use the Spectracomp mostly but I've been using the comp'n'drive in the rock band lately. I bought my bh250 around 10 years ago now and I loved it so I purchased the bh550 for gigging and use the bh250 home practice and rehearsals if it's required. As a lazy bassist, the BH series was invented for me...built in tuner, aux input and headphones socket plus loads of pedals on my phone to try out 👍🏻 If it could set it's own volume up to be louder than two guitarists it would be perfect!

They've been trying to flog that for quite a while. Seven or eight years at least. Can't imagine why it's such a problem.

Yes, but it's always a gamble! -
1 rack unit is gone so the only one left is the lower one in the photos. For sale is my used but not abused EMS 500 19" rack case. The rack is currently assembled as 6U but can be reconfigured as 3U, 6U simply by removing some bolts and panels - 10 min job! You can also configure it so the top removes for mixers. The rack is currently assembled to a board with castors which isn't included in the sale and will be removed before shipping.........unless you really, really want it and then it would be an extra £20 and whatever the increased postage is. These are quite special cases as they are modular construction where you can increase or decrease the number of rack spaces by easily adding or removing side and end panels. All you need is an allen key! You can also use them with a mixer installed in the top and the top panel can be easily removed! See the photo of how I had the units set up for my band PA. (None of the rack equipment is included.) All catches etc are in good condition. Rack to rack depth is 48cm. Weight per 6U assembly is 18lbs / 8.2kg. See the attached brochure for more details. The 6U Gator version of this case weighs 13lbs so slightly lighter but is NOT as rigid, road resilient or has the flexiblity options. As these are modular I would propose they are dismantled and flat packed for shipping to reduce the cost. I'll give details on how to re-assemble if you need but its quite straight forward. I've estimated UK postage to be £15 per unit. 6U Rack Unit 2 - the lower 6U rack unit in the photos on its own - £90 / Board with castors - £20 / Both together £100. Shipping Extra EMS.pdf

I have just gone through a lot of my studio / PA gear and removed the excess insert and patch cables etc. and have gathered together quite a collection of connectors. Some of the items are brand new never been used but all are in great condition and fully functional. I could be persueded to a bulk buy reduction. Postage would be based on how many and destination. The table below gives as much info on model / style as I know.
