    Nope I’ve refrained from making an already hard job worse I’ve not put in any filler and my understanding was that the person I bought it off hasn’t also. The binding seems intact on most of the neck too I’ll take more close ups

    Lots of people think that a 5 just gives you a few semitones lower range. It isn't just that. It also gives you an extra string to drop onto higher up the neck. This saves on excessive travel up and down the neck.

    A lot of bassists (including me) started as guitarists, and I know a very talented guitarist who started as a bassist (and can still play bass well, and drum too). I agree about the different mindsets - it is possible to switch between them, but not everybody can develop both mindsets.

    Hey! A 5 string enthusiast, should I ask why? Amazing, thanks a lot! I'm very torn because I love the Samick aesthetically but I bet it's a beast to handle, being 5 string, vintage and active PJ I'm still undecided

    I've taken this in a trade... as much as I've been impressed by these my forays into digital haven't been successful and I've no intention in starting afresh with another unit! Please forgive the text from it's previous advert... everything is applicable and i couldn't have worded it better! Immaculate 12-month-old MKII Turbo (the one with the faster processor and larger screens). Purchased direct from G66 with 2 years of transferable warranty remaining. It’s been babied and well looked after. The Package: £999 • Fractal FM3 MKII Turbo: Mint condition, all original boxes/paperwork. • Pedalnetics QuadAux: Adds 4 extra switches (effectively an 7-button unit). • G66 Padded Gig Bag: Brand new/unused. • Extras: Includes a high-quality USB-C cable (direct connection, no hub needed). Optional Board Setup: The unit is currently mounted on a Temple Audio Duo 17 with a Fender Engine Room LVL5 (isolated power) and IEC module (one-plug power setup). The board is well-used and modified for cabling but rock solid. I’d prefer to sell the whole lot together and I am happy to discuss a deal if you want the full board and power supply. Details: • I’ll help with the G66 warranty transfer. • Includes a lot of professional bass presets as well as the default guitar presets.     I’d love another of these. I have two already but would like to cover all the flats/rounds-with-maple/rosewood combinations. I mustn’t buy anything else until the gear I have listed sells though.

    Gotoh GB 528 Res-o-lite tuners also may be suitable. They have a similar footprint to the existing tuners shown in the pic above. Res-o-lite tuners are some of the lightest on the market.

    Hi Chris, I'm not gigging at the moment unfortunately, mainly due to some serious health problems, but I'm still playing the bass everyday. I've got a few nice basses nowadays, but the one I use most of the time is my USA Lakland 44-64 PJ with a Jazz Bass neck profile. It's very well-made, comfortable to play and the classic sounds available with that pickup combination are the perfect choice for most of the music I play.

    Any guitarist who thinks he can play bass should be invited to make a final decision one way or the other with no route back or be shot, eithers good. It’s a totally different mindset
