The onboard chromatic tuner supports both standard and drop bass tunings, and you can opt to either bypass all effects during tuning or to mute the outputs so that you can tune in silence. Last but not least, the MS-60B's Tap Tempo feature allows you to to set delay times and modulation effect frequencies in real time to the rhythm of the song you're playing. 1 Pedal, 58 Great Bass Effects Cut down the size of your pedalboard by adding an MS-60B. It offers 58 great-sounding ways to craft the perfect bass tone. For ease of use, these are organized into the following categories: Dynamics / Filter Shape and control your low end with these 19 different compressors, limiters, equalizers, filters, exciters, and frequency splitters, plus Zoom's Noise Reduction (ZNR) algorithm, designed to remove noise during pauses while still maintaining your instrument's natural tone. Other options here include a bass frequency-specific AutoWah and "talking" modulator, as well as emulations of the MXR DynaComp, Aphex Punch Factory, dbx 160A, BBE Sonic Maximizer, Q-Tron Envelope Filter, Moog MF-101, and Z. Vex Seek-Wah. Overdrive / Distortion The MS-60B's 11 boosters, overdrives, and direct inject / preamp models include simulations of the BOSS ODB-3, DS-1, and Metal Zone, as well as the Electro-Harmonix Bass Big Muff, SansAmp Bass Driver DI, MXR Bass D.I.+, Xotic Bass BB Preamp, and Avalon Design U5. Amp The 6 amp models provided here include emulations of classic tube amplifiers like the Ampeg SVT and Fender Bassman, as well as the contemporary sounds of the Hartke HA3500, acoustic 360, Aguilar DB750, and Italian Markbass Little Mark III, each with its own distinct cabinet modeling that can be used to further alter the tonal quality. What's more, you can pair any amp model to any cabinet model for unusual, and often striking effects. Modulation / Special effects You'll find 14 different modulation and special effects here, all specially crafted for bass. These include phasing, flanging, chorusing, tremolo, detuning, and pitch shifting, as well as a sub-octave generator and an intelligent bass synthesizer that plays along in key—even a DeFret effect that changes the tone of a fretted bass into that of a fretless. Delay / Reverb The MS-60B's cutting-edge DSP microchip performs 32-bit floating-point calculations, giving it the ability to create sophisticated studio-quality effects such as the 8 rich, dense reverbs, and realistic spatial simulations found here. These allow you to place your bass in natural-sounding spaces such as rooms and halls or to add delays of up to 4 seconds. Also included is slap-back echo and a reverb plate emulation, as well as reverse, modulated, and self-oscillating delays.

  4. Maple Road will be performing at The Big Gig, Summerfest worlds largest music festival this Saturday. Set time is 1:45-2:30 and then 3:30-4:15. We're on The Johnsonville Stage. We only got in because the band originally booked canceled. Daryl
  5. Buy lots of individual pedals. ....then realise it's a bit unwieldy, costly, and difficult to do complex changes live quickly. Sell individual pedals and buy a multi fx. ......then realise that it isn't as 'hands/stomp on' and not as 'what you see is what you get' and some sounds (like envelope filter) aren't as good as individual pedals. Sell multi fx and buy individual pedals. Repeat.
  6. One of the few cabs I’d love to try/own .. just as well I’m no longer in a band
  7. Are you familiar with the Nashville Numbering System? As in chord numbers? 2-5-1 for example? This piece of music is in C minor mostly before going up a semitone after the bridge.
  8. Nope, plus the gzrs have there own electrics.
  9. The controlling device needs to be a host device. DIY one: The M-Vave Chocolate Plus can be used - connect the MS-60B+ to "Host" and a USB power supply to "USB" (if you don't, it won't work - the USB power supply will power the pedal though). Set to Program Change A, the four buttons select patch 1, 2, 3, and 4, if buttons 1 & 2 are pressed simultaneously it will advance the base patch by 4 so button 1 will then select patch 5, pressing 1 & 2 again will advance it by another 4. Pressing 3 & 4 decreases the patch base by 4. There's a setting "Max Group Count" that you can alter to be the point at which increasing the base patch sends it back to 1. The number shown in the display is the patch number minus 1 because that's how MIDI works.
  10. It's missing one more pickup and some LEDs...
  11. Yes so good Frank and it wasn’t that long ago really that I found out that Christine woodbridge was the bass player , real sound system style, mikey dread is one of my favourites from Channel One sound, he knows exactly just when to drop the bass, I can’t get enough of this especially with the Earl 16 mix
  12. Hey guys I'm a guitarist and don't know or understand the world of bass electronics very well. I have a Mezzo 5 strings and I want to remove the preamp section and go passive. Should I replace the pots? I mean, are they only compatible with active preamps? (Since I see little PCBs on them). If so, should I have to replace all of them or maybe just some? (EG just the volume or blend). If I were to replace the blend pot and I wanted to keep the blend setup in passive mode (instead of having a volume for each pickup), which model should I buy? The same goes for the other pots (don't know if I should go for 250k or 500k or whatever). Please help me! haha I'll also replace the J Pup, probably with a Dimarzio ultra jazz. Lastly, I would try to turn it into a Jazz bass, replacing the P pickup with also a Dimarzio ultra jazz, but I would hollow out the pickup hole by hand/drill, since I dont have the right tools haha so I don't know if it would be too crazy. The thing is, I already have a 4-string PJ bass (Sire U5) and doing so would give me a more different sound...don't know what you think about it! ahah In case, I need to know how to calculate the exact new position of the jazz neck Pup, I mean the exact distance from the other one. Sorry for the madness and for my bad english!
  13. Thanks for the info Here's a short clip of the Bass VID_20250619_185506.mp4
  14. New information added to the description and photos uploaded 👍🏻
  15. Dear Angie - Badfinger
  16. So do I, which is why I have an app on my tablet and a Bluetooth connected bike. I'm always trying to beat my time or trying to overtake someone or trying not to be overtaken. It takes your mind off the tedium. It's like when I was younger I hated running (still do), but put a map and compass in my hands and I was actually quite good at orienteering as it turned out - 3rd in the county for my age class one year
  17. I find on my Spector LT5 a good setup, good intonation and a lighter gauge string... I user a .125 Dunlop super bright gives me a lot of clarity and note all the way across the neck. I find not cranking the bass on the preamp or amp also helps and also a lighter touch helps bring more note out of the string.
  18. What do you feel the current pickups are missing?
  19. Today
  20. I hear these two are quite similar - my new classic vibe has SDs, but I'm just wondering were if it'd be worth me upgrading to the Gzrs for recording heavy rock/proto heavy metal tones, or should I save my money and stick to the SPB1s? Apparently the only difference between these and the Gzrs is that the latter has a bit more of an upper mid push....just wondering if I can just tweak the amp/od pedal EQ, or would it not be the same?
  21. The letter - Joe Cocker
  22. Really digging Alpha & Omega at the moment, can't get enough of this album...
  23. And I'm the opposite to you! when I'm about to play I spend 20-30 minutes doing scales and noodling, but no practice of the set on the day. All told, l average about 7 hours a day of whatever I'm working on on normal days though.

  25. hey Chadu, how do you find the Black Panel DI out sound? Does the analogue cab sim complement your other pedals further up the chain?
  26. Thanks Frank, it has to be done, you can never have enough of those 2 classics
  27. I might mention that this is a very good travel bass: full scale, and still so tiny.
