Not sure if this is in any way significant, but G&L webstore says this now:

Wun Chan started following Lakland 44-60 Skyline Metallic Blue 4 String
-
Selling the Lakland 44-60 Skyline in metallic blue, a rare colour I believe. Matching headstock. Weight 4.4 kg on my scales Great neck and sounds lovely, just not getting the attention that it deserves. Finish is near mint, bridge has a few marks shown and the pickup have a little rust on them. Was like that when I purchased it. Collection from North London. Thanks

I had the stereo and sold it. Regretted it and bought the mono. It really is the Swiss Army knife of amp world. I’ve got a Markbass Evo 1 to try out at the moment which basically, has the Multiamp amps and effects but has two independent channels, which is exactly what I need. I think it’s what I’ve been looking for, for a long time 😁

That's what I do, albeit with poncey brass shims. They have handy locating holes, so I put them on the end screws.

Selling this "mint", in 2 senses of the word, Sire U5. Its a great short scale bass, very light and upgraded with a Di Marzio DP126 PJ pickup set, Ki0gon loom (VBT) and chrome control knobs. This is the older version with the ivory coloured binding which people either like or not, personally I prefer it. I can't see any marks on it. I've got the old Sire pickups (black casings) which I can put in, in which case the price would be £285. Collection from Tunbridge Wells, or meet up in London for £15 contribution to my train fare. Possibly could meet up by car depending on distance. No gigbag or case but I'll pack it very well if you want it it sent but you'd have to arrange your preferred courier and I accept no responsibility once it leaves my possession.

Beer of the Bass started following String buzz and clatter

It's a good sound overall, I can hear the noises you mean but it's only on the first example that I might consider trying another take if it was for a recording. It sounds like it's in the way you release stopped notes with the left hand, I suspect you'll instinctively adjust your left and right hands to minimise it as you get more familiar with the new setup.

Triumph_Rock started following Schecter P4 Exotic for Sale

For sale is my Schecter P4 Exotic bass. I'm giving up bass guitar. Just don't get the time to play and I need the space. It's a fantastic bass guitar. It has the EMG metalworks pickups. Great feeling neck and fast fretboard. Currently fitted with cobalt flats. Been well looked after. Versatile tone and sounds great. Would prefer collection, but I am willing to travel within reason to meet at agreed location.

Fender Precision 50's Classic Series Excellent condition
Woody1957 posted a topic in Basses For Sale
This is a top quality bass, both in build quality and tone, it sounds phenomenal and exactly as a P bass should. Excellent condition apart from a tiny ding at the back of the strap button at the bottom of the bass and can barely be seen even up close. I have upgraded the bass with the following - Norstrand NP4a pickups /CTS pots /Switchcraft jack /WD Black 3 ply scratch plate /tug bar. Set up by the man himself...Mr Jon Shuker and is extremely easy to play all up the fretboard. Ernie Ball Super Slinky 45/60/80/100 strings fitted. Sorry I don't have the original parts as I really didn't intend selling this bass ever. Only selling as I've had to buy a new central heating boiler which cost a fortune. Comes with the original fender gig bag in top condition as it hasn't been used for gigging. Absolutely any trial welcome. Sorry no trades thanks. I really don't want to courier this bass due to no packaging/bad experience, so pick up preferred but would drive a reasonable distance to meet up with petrol cost. I would consider 2 instalment payments. I will also include my hardly used Tascam bass trainer with original power supply.-

Mine just arrived. It’s brilliant. Someone at Epiphone was inspired by the Takamine TB10.

Bass VI — worth upgrading from a Classic vibe to a vintera II ?
BigRedX replied to Jean-Luc Pickguard's topic in Bass Guitars
Width-wise the neck is very much in skinny 70s Strat territory. -

aniki started following Rumble 800 combo not loud enough??
-
I wouldn't mind betting that either one or both of the guitarists have WAY too much bass on their eq. Sure, it sounds nice and heavy in isolation but totally inappropriate in a band situation and sadly very common! Start with just drums. Then add bass; can you get loud enough to comfortably match the drum volume? If so, your equipment is fine. The guitarists should then turn up enough to form that cohesive blend where you all sound like 'a band' rather than several people playing their instruments in the same room if you get my meaning...
