  2. Very nice! My current setup is mostly for work, have my mac mini for personal stuff. Recently had to give up my office for the offsprings new bedroom so been struggling to downsize to about half the space. Finally gave up on dual screens and studio monitors and have had to make do with a more humble setup more fit for the new space: Going to make a new desk top once ive got a few other house bits out of the way with some better cable management, some speaker stands and a shelf to house the kvm and interface etc. I really want a way to integrate my midi controller too, perhaps on a sliding tray. Until then it'll do!
  3. Up for sale is my Bright Onion Mini Dual Momentary Footswitch. Perfect companion for HX Stomp etc to add a couple of switches. In great condition, with velcro on the bottom. Will include a 28cm EBS Flat TRS Patch Cable (£7 new). This pedal + cable would be £40 posted from Bright Onion, so on offer here for £28 posted. Any questions, please ask. Cheers!
  4. ITYF it has to be in his uncle's attic to be authentic.
  5. Ive got a Rumble 25, had it for a few years, probably used it 5 times. It's a lovely combo but I just cant be bothered getting it out to play once every now and then. I think the Joyo is small enough to sit on the or under my desk for when I do fancy a blast.
  6. Ok, so GAS has got the better of me (again) and I’ve splurged a load of cash on something else, so this is now available for £120 including UK second class delivery.
  7. I'll take the one that's left after others have...

  9. Can't Feel My Legs - Don Toliver
  10. Yes, USB-C cables and the I/O meters on the units are a nice touch:
  11. People will talk of me with hushed reverence. (Probably better than shouting and sweating at me as most people do!)
  12. The Joyo Badass sounds incredible. If they made a 500W version I'd get one tomorrow.
  13. Our very own Dood demoing this fine beast.
  14. Update: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BASS Honestly, it's a stunner. It feels alive. I may change the pickups for something potted (I can be quite heavy-handed) but it sounds amazing with flats. Here's a clip from a rep with my Son's band this afternoon.
  15. Rumbles are a lot easier to sell on when upgrade time comes.
  16. Quality starter instruments are much of a muchness these days. They're all pretty decent. Don't buy new, as others advise. Plenty of instruments out there that have been bought with good intentions and consigned to the cupboard virtually unused when people realise it ain't that simple. As a starter bass will almost inevitably be sold on once the player has got past the beginner stage, so you want something that won't be worth pennies when the time comes to upgrade (unless you have plenty of moolah). A Squier will hold its value better than a HB or similar.
  17. This afternoon.. a bit of a special one for me - I gigged with my son for the first time ever. He's 13, the rest of the band are 15/16, but they're pretty accomplished for their age. An afternoon stuffed with proud Dad moments.
  18. To me, weddings and functions is what you do for moneyn there's so much extra responsibility and hassle. Pub/club gigs are what you do for love of playing.
  19. I taped over the footwitch socket on my Trace amp, only after killing it by hooking up the speaker lead to it. Thankfully there was no major loss of magic smoke, just a popped resistor in the preamp power supply.

  21. Cheap German bow from the world (in)famous makers at Thomann Esquire. Sadly the bit of wood that keeps the hair in place has come out. I don’t know how this happened, but it has. Bow is free if you want it or it’s going on the bin. Maybe you can fix it and make your fortune?
  22. I didn't know Liberace had a wooden leg as well as a milky eye.
  23. There's a homeopathic medicine called Ruta Grav which I've found helpful. It's recommended for over-use/strain of flexor tendons.
  24. All including UK postage. Becos CompIQ MINI Pro Compressor £155 (Mint condition) Jam Ripple Bass Phaser £105 J.Rockett GTO (Guthrie Trapp Overdrive) £160
