Ok, so I was being a bit broad brush. There are many valid trills, but they tend to be integral to the writing of the music (see strings in classical music for example). I was using it as shorthand for when people, especially vocalists and guitarists but also your Jools Holland types, fart around with a note instead of holding it or cutting it. Indeed. I wasn't looking to buy btw. At the time I'd been looking at the new 4005v basses and that ebay pic/ad popped up. I could see it was a real Ric being passed off as a bass you'd get from the "maker", and it took all of 2 mins to find where they had lifted the photo from. I cheekily asked the "maker" for pics of other colours they do and got this reply: "Hello,friend The actual guitar you receive is same to the photo we listed.if you are interested,you can make an order.Thank you" Nope.
