  2. I am not familiar with this pedal. I wonder if it’s using a similar principle to the Boss SY-1 which doesn’t actually do any pitch conversion, rather it overlays/processes the incoming audio with additional spectral information to give the impression of a synth; there there is no tracking latency as it’s not tracking pitch at all.
  3. Who’s that bass playing fours?
  4. I picked this up from @Basilpea not that long ago. It's a great cab, but it isn't a cosmetic match to my other AT210, so being the fickle person I am I want to replace this... It's got some small dents from being gigged, but overall in good condition and absurdly light. You can pick it up with two fingers! It's also very loud. W52 x D33,5 x H57 cm 600 watts at 4 ohms 103dB SPL Also comes with GR Bass soft padded cover. GR say: The lightest 2×10 bass cabinet in the world. Thanks to its size, lightness, and power, the AT 210 is one of the most versatile cabinets in the entire catalog. Suitable for both small and large live shows, it allows you to always have your sound with you. With the AeroTech line, you can have the incredible innovation of our Carbon Fibre cabinets combined with the Pure Sound of GR, which is the pure sound of your instrument. Incredible sound, lightweight, power, impact resistance, and a beautiful modern design. I'm afraid this is collection only, as I don't have anything suitable to ship it in. No trades either thanks. I'm using @Basilpea's pictures, which I hope he's okay with.

  5. This amp is now £400 on Amazon. Incredible. I will drop the price for the amp, adapter, pedalboard and case to £500, which is still a good deal I think, but I really cannot go any lower. If it doesn't sell at this price I will just keep it as a spare.
  6. Ridiculous!! Probably the best bass for sale here and virtually no interest!!! A bump is the least I can do...
  7. Should give a mention to the software developers. DIY Layout Design is donation ware and is really good. Just drag and drop the parts. Start with a pickup, connect it to a jack socket, then test the circuit. Keep adding and testing. 8. Partly lack of marketing, partly not loading it with cover band patches. Even if not using the editor, with a few properly tailored presets, the V4’s onboard controls would give you way more control than the MXR (apart from the lack of a compressor) and without recourse to hidden secondary functions.
  9. I remember when the Fullerton Reissues came out in the early 1980's and some reviews slating them as overpriced and underwhelming in terms of quality and playability. They were especially disappointing considering the relatively cheap but very cheerful JV Squires that were abundant in the shops at exactly the same time .
  10. I ordered one of those 1983 reissues when they very first came out. I remember it was delivered just before a fire drill at work. They weren't impressed I took it outside with me. I sent it back because I couldn't live with the awful replica tort plate.
  11. If I had a template to follow, preferably in CAD I could do it. But again I'm reluctant to offer guarantees about fit when fractions of a millimetre matter so much.
  12. I have both a bg250-208 combo and the newer bc208 cabinet - they do play well together. It’s a shame TCE used slightly different dimensions for the newer cab (it’s a trifle narrower and a bit taller than the combo), which means it doesn’t stack quite as neatly as you would expect - dunno why on earth they did that…
  13. Yes, it's possible. I'm going to make fretless and 22 fret fingerboards a no-charge option for this batch just to say thanks for your support and trust.
  14. +1! Aaaaargh! Indeed
  15. I know it means I'm sad, but that grates on me, too. On the topic of decals, it doesn't bother me. The decal on my bitsa reads "Dinky Toys". Perhaps some collector of diecast metal model cars might moan, but who cares?
  16. I would agree with this from my experience and what a lot of other people have said - I think the re-issues that came the closest to the originals were probably the 2013-2017 AVRI line. I'm sure these are good basses but the pricing on them at the moments feels extremely speculative, especially when you can get decent late'60s/early '70s models for less money.
  17. Good call
  18. Future impact V4 already acheives this i hear. But i think the reason it hasnt taken off is that its too complicated. I beleive a more cut down version of the FI (in a small modern enclosure) would have sold much better. Think about it, theres nothing the MXR can do that the FI cant.....
  19. I briefly had a fretless bass. Didn't care for the tone and it didn't fit my bands. I was also using flats for the first time in a long time which I'm also not keen on. I don't like mwah and don't understand the appeal. There are a few songs where I don't mind fretless bass, but I don't even really like the tone of other people playing fretless bass. Safe to say it isn't for me 😅 Fill your boots though - variety is the spice of life.
  20. I may have solved the issue. By putting the tone circuits before the blend pot keeps them operating per pickup, I think. I decided I need a way to mute the instrument. In the end, a master volume pot it the most useful, and graceful way to do that.
  21. Hopefully the bass amp on its own sounds good, I briefly had the Katana 100 guitar combo and got fed up with the very digital sounding tone and adjustment overload ! People rave about them but I’m too old school to faff around making presets on a laptop etc
  22. Subjective experience is totally valid. Mine is that unless it has at LEAST a 35", the B string lacks clarity/harmonics. I have also had 35" basses with a mediocre B however, which does suggest the scale length alone is not a guarantee.
  23. For sale my 2 month old Nux MG30 ( with all the bits - extra 2 button footswitch + cable , power supply , USB cable all in original box ) All as brand new ........ Far too much in it for my use - check manual online . Price includes UK Mainland Delivery

  24. I might consider a trade, or exchange, for a different instruments This Olinto is a sensational instrument, maybe the best passive jazz 5 I've ever tried.. a very woody and organic voice.. it doesn't sound like the typical maple fretboard instrument.. it sounds very 60's.. it even has a sound that seems older than my 66 jazz!! As for the characteristics of the instrument: Olinto J5, Production year 2023 body: alder maple neck, birdseye maple fingerboard, custom Mas Hino hand wound pickups 34" scale Carbonetti Sunburst nitro finish hipshot hardware weight around 4kg original hard case available a spare white perloid pickguard Other pics and samples available on request price for a new one, around 5200$ plus shipping, plus taxes I set a trade value of 4800€, open to discuss depending on the offers no issues on the bass.. really near mint conditions
