  3. Hello, I bought a Sire P3 just for the body, as it was in the exact colour I needed for a project....I do not need the neck, therefore it's for sale. Literally took it out the box and unscrewed the body from the neck. Comes with neckplate, screws, truss rod adjustment tool etc...never been played, tuning pegs still have the plastic om them. Pickup preferred, but can also post anywhere... Cheers, James
  4. As far as I can see, Gen Z and Gen A are not interested in AI music at all. All the kids I know are listening to CDs in their rooms and buying DVDs out of frustration with the streaming services. Radiohead are popular with the youth again for their authenticity. Snapchat is the last social media standing, and only because it's used as a messenger. The next generation is already tired of fake filters and algorithms. Whilst it's incredible technology, if anything I think the backlash against AI will mean more live music - and music that focuses on tangible instruments, texture and real-life sounds. I doubt there will be any money left in music production though, just live events.

  8. I wholeheartedly concur with @Silky999 - this is a spectacular little bass with a rich and full sound - We even tuned the pickup angles between us, so it sounds perfectly even between each string. If I hadn't taken a 5-string Maruszczyk Mr.Tee Shortscale in P/X last week, I'd be having this myself! The engraved 'MGCS Basses' logo on the body is next level cool, too.

  10. I'm astonished work mine every time I use it.
  11. Me from our BLOCKBUSTARZ gig at The Ferry in Glasgow on Saturday night. First time there and depping for a friends band who had to cancel so a lack of advertising for us but it was a great night. Dave
  12. How many have you been to recently? Me, not so many. Is there? There are about 10 cover bands in the local area this weekend, but I don't see any orchestras. No-one cared about the tune as long as it was Elvis playing it, it could have been anything. How did Elvis get a start, what happens if he never did? Or are you saying that ultimately we will just end up with live mime acts, or like the abba projection thing? Or actually I suppose, like elvis, the only people who will be able to perform are the pretty ones (similar to the national level but local). If there is no skill required to do it, then aesthetics will be the only thing that matters. Thats me out then!
  13. WOW that's a fair old jump. Are you using a trampoline on stage. ? Cracking pic. Dave
  14. I have the 5 Poistion (4 RC settings and ByPass) QTP Tone Control in my Ibby SR with a Tonerider P. Maybe could benefit from being say 7 positions to give a bit more flexibility with different pickups. But that is more of a tonestyler type switch than an indented pot.
  15. I’d say that’s un-natural talent! 😳
  16. You using an Orange rig there Stevie ? Looks like a cracking night mate. Dave

  18. 200w in to an efficient cab would do me, but lots of people swear 500w is minimum these days.

  24. I have had the best experience with LFSYS; Stephan has built a Monza and shipped it to me in Norway ❤️ Still early days, but it's already proved it's sound capabilities and has surpassed my GR 12" active cab.
  25. Weirdly one of the best tracking octaves I’ve tried was the Digitech Bass Synth Wah. Sounded brilliant, too.
  26. Another vote for the Markbass CMD121P. I play in some loud bands and the master volume has never been above 4 even with no PA support. The foldable amp stand solves the 'firing at your feet' issue.
