  1. Past hour
  2. Cheers! Yeah, if I were still gigging regularly, I'd be clinging on to this amp. But I'll be keeping my Little B*ast*rd 30 for recording - probably my joint favourite with the CTM-100! - so I can't really justify keeping both of them.
  3. MARSHALL BB-2 Not to be confused with the original Bluesbreaker pedal, which was essentially a preamp-in-a-box - this is a dedicated, dual-mode overdrive pedal. "Boost" mode is a transparent-sounding clean boost, designed to push the front end of your amp harder, while "Blues" mode gives a much more shaped (and saturated!) tone, reminiscent of the original Bluesbreaker amps being dimed. I bought this pedal back in something like 2010. It was my main distortion effect for a while, and did a handful of gigs with me, but as I've experimented with new effects and different amps, I find myself using it less and less. I still have the original box and user's manual, which are a little worn in places (see pictures); the pedal itself is in excellent condition. Only one thing: the controls originally had black position indicators painted on them, which have mostly rubbed off over the years. Up to you whether you leave them as is, or paint some new ones on! Price includes postage to mainland UK. If you'd like it sent to a different country, drop me a PM. Open to sensible offers!
  4. Luckily I don’t have that issue, songs by coked up indie halfwits wouldn’t get a look in on our set lists.
  5. *sigh* Memories ☺️
  6. I'm happy to do one charity gig a year without expenses or payment, provided I know where the money is going. I did a gig once which was 'in memory' of a tragic event but which I later found out was run as a commercial enterprise. I'm much more careful these days.
  7. I think it was back in the 70's the protection tariffs were introduced to help Harley Davidson. It was either that or they'd have to build a modern motorcycle
  8. Shouldnt be " cheap cables ... i very very much doubt that andertons could take that line as the cable itself is Andertons own ... so they couldnt exactly blame it https://www.andertons.co.uk/stagg-nmc3r-male-to-female-xlr-Rean-3m/ I did look up the terms on their site and they are quite clear , our chap in audio was able to stretch to a bit past the 30 for goodwill but at double that .... I suspect its more than his necks worth
  9. Blockheads - Ian Dury and the Blockheads
  10. @Hacksawbob 250 kΩ audio-taper The actual model is: Noble RV24YN 20kCB
  11. Used but in fine condition. Price includes InPost locker service.
  12. That will be because the charity will be regulated and its activities audited. Which is different to someone off the street organising an event and donating the profits to a charity of their choice, or raising money for a local good cause. Charity comes in different forms.
  13. Frank, did you get the Fly 3 Bass or something else? I have a Single Fly 3 and wondering if to get stereo bass version or something else. Scuru or Joyo or ???
  14. I used to have a Rudy Sarzo model and 2 x Randy Jackson models. Fantastic basses, one and all........ they just never got played as my Spectors spoiled me on almost any other brand/bass....
  15. Beautiful vintage lined fretless, one of the first series 300 from ‘93. Japanese made, very light and easy to play with a good action and an active 2 band EQ from EMG, this comprises of volume, pickup blend, bass and treble cut and boost, the strings are flat wound which means you can dial in a range of tones from modern fretless to double bass. This instrument was defretted and is in good condition despite it’s age, there are a few scuffs which is to be expected but it still plays well, there are a tuners are high quality Gotoh. This is a great opportunity to pick up an entry fretless at a good price or indeed a hard to acquire blast from the past, pick up only from Halifax, thanks for your interest do mail any enquiries you have.

  16. The song "Low" by Lenny Kravitz includes a posthumous vocal sample from Michael Jackson, recorded during sessions for Jackson’s unfinished track “(I Can’t Make It) Another Day.” https://basslessons.be/transcriptions.php?i=1116
  17. No worries man! I had never played a passive stingray before this one and was surprised!
  18. I have it somewhere. Can’t remember if it’s blu ray or not . Could it be a regional issue ??
  19. Ibanez EHB 1005 MS £750 Excellent condition, just some very small signs of use that won't show up on photos, a shop could get away with selling it as ex display or an 'open box' return rather than as second hand. With Ibanez gig bag. 3.4kg. Bought new less than a year ago. NYXL strings fitted a few months ago (they're an improvement on the stock ones it came with). Specs: https://www.ibanez.com/eu/products/detail/ehb1005ms_1p_02.html Collection from Chichester, or I'm in Central London on Mondays. I have the Ibanez box it could potentially be posted in (will add a photo of that once I've retrieved it from the loft). As a 5 string I think these are hard to beat: Clear 35" B string, even tone across strings and comfortable to play the multiscale, ergonomic and about as lightweight as any 5 string you can get - but still well balanced with no neck dive, compact for carrying and using at pub gigs with small stages, a lot of different tones, passive/active switch, decent 3 band EQ with sweepable mids, stays in tune. These are great basses with just two annoying things: Fret markers are difficult to see and the locking jack socket needed two hands for you to remove the cable (one to press the button in and one to pull the cable out) which I found a faff. I've addressed both of those: Glowtec Lumo fret stickers (high quality, cost me about £20 with postage, they stay in place well but are removable if you want) and I took the small spring out of the jack socket so it doesn't push in to lock (I still have the small spring so it could be put back in). I keep buying these Basses (this is my third one!) when I feel I 'need' an active 5 string, then after about a year I feel I 'need' a passive 4 string...no particular reason, sometimes there are some new songs for the band that require the B string and then sometimes there's a whole set with no need for it gets me thinking a 4 would be better, but mostly it is that I'm just fickle and like having new Basses! I'm always a one Bass at a time sort of person as I don't like swapping between different ones especially if different scale lengths or different amount of strings and I always need to sell a Bass to fund the next one so I continue the annual cycle of selling 5 string to get a 4 and vice versa. I have seen one specific 4 string Bass I want, I might remove this advert if that sells first.....and if I do get that one then this time next year when I feel I 'need' an active 5 string again I'll probably sell it to buy one of these again! My Feedback:

  24. Hello, Up for sale is this Sansamp Programmable. All in good working order. I'm asking £160 inc postage. It's a great sounding pedal, but a bit overkill for my needs now. With that in mind I'd consider a trade for a standard BDDI v2. Any questions, drop me a message. Cheers!
  25. Hi, I have just sold it.
  26. I had those Gear4Music ones for my guitars and they were very good, not just for the price either.
