Eldon Tyrell started following Epiphone... G-3?
-
Looks like the natural one will only be available on the Epiphone website (DTC): "Epiphone Mike Dirnt Grabber G-3, Natural, Exclusive" https://www.gibson.com/en-gb/products/epiphone-mike-dirnt-grabber-g-3-natural-exclusive The silverburst one is already available in several stores but looks to be a bit on the heavy side. All around 4.4kg 😞

On Saturday we played at Gagarin205 in Athens - the venue looked fantastic lit up at night. Sadly I only have a daytime pic: and an aerial view of the soundcheck in moody black and white: and a view of the audience from the stage: We sold 1200 tickets. The venue was full. Punters were being turned away! We had a few technical gremlions but overall it was a successful (and profitable) adventure.

That just looks like it has been reworked at some point, rather than it blowing there. I mean it might as it has clearly happened once before, but I wouldn't assume it was there unless you have checked and found it is. But then if it is, seems a simple enough fault to fix
-
Sadly they no longer manufacture this. I've even bought a second one, they are so good that I don't want to lose what they do. Fundamentally they are designed to do one job and that is to mix live music for a typical pub/club band. You have extensive facilities but nothing that is superfluous but workflow is meticulously worked out to be simple for any poor sod who is mixing whilst playing. Zero problems with the wi-fi on the mixer though Apple have decided that you can't use an iPad without an internet connection for more than an hour. I need to stop it tethering to my phone in the middle of a gig. That's not the mixer's fault it's 'Apple knows best'

How does this impact on Dynamic Pricing? This appears to only apply to resale, whereas Dynamic Pricing is where the real gouging happens. -
The Accidental Birth: How The Fender Antigua Was Born

I remember smoked glass being fashionable at the time so I always linked the two in my head. Smoked glass burst. I was a fan then and still am, a bit. It's available as a finish now in the Mod Shop, but the matching pickguards ain't. Ian Martin Allison has a just-clean-enough 70s Jazz in this finish, with rosewood board and blocks/binding. I would have that off him in an instant, even if I then had to get the (presumably chunky) neck profile adjusted.- 1 reply

I'm stuck on these... On one hand it's good to see the breakdown so you know (to a degree) where your money is going, but as you say if you can't actually remove any of those additional fees then it all just seems pointless. -

It six months time the 'germ' will be topping the streaming charts. There will be posts on the 'What Are You Listening To Right Now' thread, and it'll be the 'Germ' and several other tracks from the same album. Someone will post here about how they got that bass tone on the 'Germ'. And at the next Glastonbury, someone will ask what bass the bassist was using when that band were playing the 'Germ'. 😂 -
Last night ... " well saturday" ... our PA failed , We had to spin our Monitor round and crank it to make up with it ... as a Fully ampless band this was a bit of a disaster. The right side of the Mackie Industrial ART 200A would not transmit any sound from the main speaker ... the Horn/Tweeter was producing sound confirming that it wasn't a power issue or a mixer send issue , I confirmed this swapping it and in my post mortem testing sunday ... when i cracked it apart hoping to find a simple issue like a loose terminal connection and within my cack handed ability to mend. Sadly is seems one of the EQ block's is soggy / rotten 😐 Annoying ... but we've had to rush order a new EV PA ahead of next weekend's gig , the band voted with their wallets after being let down by used gear.

Well, maybe he was no good for the music. I saw Pino with NiN and it really didn't work for me -

Ernie Ball getting into the string mute game
Jean-Luc Pickguard replied to PinkMohawk's topic in Accessories and Misc
On a quick initial test, the bass mute noodle doesn't seem to be suitable for my Vintera Bass vi (which has just been delivered) as it is affecting the string height. I'll try it again once I've put the LaBella flats on and see whether more careful noodle threading works gives better results. Then I might order the guitar mute noodle to see whether that works better on a bass VI. -
