    It seems he may have good and bad days then, and clearly I caught him on a bad day. Let's just say that after enquiring about the condition of a guitar ("Frets are 100%, so is the guitar") it arrived with a pronounced ding, and so badly setup as to be unplayable. I decided to keep it nonetheless, even left 4* seller feedback but he retaliated by leaving me 1* as a buyer, with the comment sneakily made to look like a complaint against me as a seller (I sold as a company on Reverb back then). Long story short, Reverb sided with their seller and said I should just change my feedback to 5* and then he would change his. When I saw this behaviour I quit as a Reverb seller immediately as I have integrity and will not be part of any platform where the feedback and reviews cannot be trusted. It goes without saying that I would never deal with Fender Fever again.

    Would have been a popular setup in the '80s. Loads of those cabs around. I remember hearing a 400rb through a boogie 1x15 with an EV speaker at a gig, sounded great. I'm not into loads of low end tbh more the low mids and good presence. Much of my tastes are stuck in the last century!

    My old Bass! And a great price for what is still the best P-Bass I've owned. Do you still have the original Gold anodised Scratchplate it had from new? (when I sold it 2-3 years ago, it had it). This version has a poly finish just as a note - it's not Nitro.
