I just bought a Sansamp Programmable from Jez. An easy transaction, fast postage, and a gnarly pedal as described. Would happily buy from again. Cheers!

I thought I had seen and heard Marcus playing a Sadowsky 5 string, check this out. Pretty sure he used this same bass on High Life by Wayne Shorter. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1705956527472114&surface_type=vod&referral_source=vod_newsfeed_unit

Well… I love 51’/tele basses. Had a very nice custom shop “sting” and have had a MIJ reissue at some point. Saw this on a facebook page and just went for it. Thanks to @walshyfor doing the middleman bit. So spec is Fender neck - stripped, nitro refin guitarbuild ash body, nitro BSB fralin pickup Gotoh reverse machineheads bakelite pickguard bakelite saddles etc some posh pots and capacitors etc. Fender covers all slot-head screws as per early 51’s needs some tweaks to suit, but it’s ace. slightly heavy at 10.5lbs…but it’s a resonant chunk.

Yes I read this. It’s also why all the Fenders are built using tools we’d all have access too.

Wavy Grovers! Split pickguard! Extra tailpiece screws! Lovely example of an early 4003, and it looks pretty much unplayed!

Anyone make Ampeg B15 head clones in the UK?
ossyrocks replied to Uncle Balsamic's topic in Amps and Cabs
If I were going into a project like this, I would want to make sure it was a success, and therefore I would not want to cut any corners, otherwise it might end up a waste of money. For me, there are two people who come to mind, Dan Whitelock-Jones in Liverpool, and Martin Garton in Edenfield. Both could build you what you want and it be a very high quality amp. The Ceriatone amps are actually very good (I've had 5 of them), and you could always order the kit without transformers and source better ones elsewhere. So that's an option, but I doubt either DWJ or Martin would build it for you. Nick at Ceriatone would build it though, and ship it without the transformers which you could get added here. Many options. Rob -

People need to calm down and read up on fair use. Also see the following advice from Gemini. I'm not a lawyer so take from this what you will. And if Disney issue a takedown notice, just comply. Recommendations: * Make it Distinctive: To minimize risk, try to make your character and its style significantly different from existing Muppets. Avoid directly copying recognizable features. * Avoid Using the Term "Muppet": Don't explicitly call your creation a "Muppet" or use the Muppets trademark in your description. * Clearly State It's Fan-Created: If your image could be interpreted as being officially related to the Muppets, explicitly state that it is fan-created and not affiliated with Disney. * Be Prepared for a Takedown Request: Even if you believe your use is fair, Disney could still send a takedown request to the forum. You would then need to decide whether to comply or challenge it (which can have legal implications). In conclusion, while the risk of legal action for a non-profit, original image on a small forum is likely low, technically it could still be considered copyright infringement if it draws too heavily on the established Muppet style. Creating a distinctly different character and avoiding the use of the "Muppet" trademark will help to minimize any potential issues.
