    Barber Linden EQ Pedal. Baxandall style EQ pedal, similar in style to a B15/Fender amp EQ but with some interesting options on the toggle switches. Remarkably similar to the Noble DI in the way that these interact. Price includes UK Postage.

    Trying lots of new things lately, and now it's time to let some of them go. A pretty glorious older EHX Bass Microsynth. More pleasing than the current edition, if a little more space-hungry on the pedalboard. Comes with a power supply. eBay & Reverb would suggest prices in the £600-£800 region, but pricing more realistically for a Basschat sale. UK Postage included.

    This is a special one... Swamp ash body, roasted maple neck and fretboard with black blocks. The full Sandberg masterpiece treatment, including vibration and heat, and some of the best heavy ageing available. I need to properly weigh and photograph this over the next few days, but it's the lightest solidbody bass I have here by quite a margin. UK Shipping absolutley doable, collection welcome. Comes with high quality Sandberg gigbag, and a spare set of pickups (white covers). Any and all questions very welcome! . .

    The old SWR amps have no sub bass filtering whatsoever unless retrofitted. Push a bass string and watch the cone move in synch.

    There are some excellent videos on YouTube that talk about how to get the best out of a compressor with bass. Understanding a compressor is a really useful skill as a bassist. Another thing to do is understand how changes in EQ affect the sound, not just solo but in a band context too.

    Saw Broken Peach Last night. What a gig. Those 3 ladies have fantastic voices and so much energy. Nice to see a band really enjoying themselves.

    Cross terminology here, by below I meant 1-6th fret 😅 so our experiences appear to be the same. Just to add though, after a few hours more with this pedal, almost all my negativity faded away. Yes the aforementioned retriggering isn't ideal, but the tracking is actually great once you learn to play to it. I adore the thing!

    Same here. Especially if you're recording in the control room (or at home) with a lot of electronic gear around you.

    The port will add noticeably more bass. I hope you will be happy with it. For the jam session see if you can get the cab in a corner and the bass will be reinforced by the room.

    I've tried the solid connectors and they fall out quite easily. I was amazed. They also make the whole thing more cumbersome. For the majority of gigs I use the wireless just for soundcheck. However I'm going to get one of these Levy's pouches and make up a lead. The reason I bought the solid adaptors was to eliminate buzz rather than anything else.

    Isn't it a velcro wrap around a two-part handle? Less convenient than a one piece handle which my older version of the case has, although it does mean that the handle cradles the case rather than the case hanging from the handle. Not an issue with the light headless basses and headed guitars I carry in it, but possibly an issue with a Les Paul.

    Future Impact V4 or V4 VIP would allow you to trigger the synth oscillators using your bass.

    Oops sorry I don't know how that double-posted! Thanks for answering anyway. Edit to add: you may also have posted this already but does 'dx7-compatible' mean it shares the 6-op structure and algorithms? Are the operators sine only?

    I'd seriously love to relieve you of the burden of bumping this, but now is definitely the wrong time for me to be weighing out for this. I'll keep coming back to it just to torture myself though. Somebody buy it - please!

    Argh, I just accidentally lost the best FM bass patch I’ve created so far. Dexed always defaults to slot 1 when saving and I clicked too hastily. So annoyed.
