Nothing happens quickly at court unfortunately. Years of reporting on court cases for the local newspaper taught me that. There’s many fairly dull reasons why cases get delayed or can’t be heard on a certain day/time - awaiting some vital reports, illness, no shows by anyone involved in it, judge/magistrate called away to deal with something else, other unforeseen circumstances etc. There might sometimes be hearings to agree dates and times of the next hearings, plea and directions hearings, setting any bail conditions, to agree if a case needs to be committed to crown court for sentencing or for trial etc. There’s a due process to follow in any court case and it moves pretty slowly at times.

Give Chris or Martin a call at the factory. When Martin did a refret and setup on my original series 5’er, Chris replaced at least one of the knobs from NOS.

Ignore him, he's playing with your mind. They were a story told to young bassists to scare them in t'olden days. 🙂

Mine has the twin pole jazz pick up and I haven't noticed any significant drop off in volume. It was one of the things I was prepared for after reading other reviews, but it hasn't manifested itself here. Thanks. The finish was the trigger for me. I would have gone for the Z3 but I didn't like any of the finishes.

Thanks for posting - that video is an absolute blast!! Looks like you're playing a Starstream A2S like mine - am I right? With a Nordstrand Acynonix parked on a stand at the side? -

Just arrived as it happens. Completely out of the blue as I had no notification from the courier. To say I’m relieved is an understatement and no doubt the shop is too, they must have been sick of my calls. -

Is he the guy with the tattoos? If it was then agree - he was really informative and a really nice guy to chat to.

Morning all, I'm looking for a set of replacement knobs for an Overwater 'Original' or 'C' bass per the pics below. I've reached out to Overwater via the form on their website and recieved the usual stellar customer care (absolute silence). The knobs look to be knurled wood, with either a plastic or MOP position marker on the top. They are flared at the bottom like a witches hat knob. Anyone know of a supplier or could suggest anything similar? Many thanks in advance for your help. Stuart

2 superb bass cabs In great condition, that have served me well but dont get used anymore and need a new home. Everything works without any issues, a couple of hex nuts missing off the back but can be easily replaced for pence if you really need to. Comes with 2 Hotcovers protective covers worth over £100. Would be interested in a trade for a Fender Mustang Bass. Specs Ashdown ABM 410H 600w 8ohm Ashdown ABM 115 300w 8ohm

i have dealings with the main three ... if pressed i would say the gallery is the best by just simply doing what they are supposed to do ...followed by direct and then bbros but i wont get into that one. Bass direct need some serious email etiquette tips ...like i know you guys are busy but reply to an email ffs, how hard can it be?

first caught them at hammy odeon, farewell to kings tour ..then hemispheres followed by permanent waves ...then over to wembley arena for moving pictures ...started getting into more 80s style bands after that ...rush were really a 70s band in my mind, 80s never really suited their style.

I am having a clear out and for some reason - many moons ago, bought a whole load of speakon connectors and high quality speaker cable. I need rid as I am skint! So, any length (I seem to have reels of the stuff!), connectors, number of - let me know and I can make them up for you and we can decide on a price. Speakon to Jack or Speakon to Speakon. Or if you want to buy some connectors or cable, give me a shout. A 1m speakon to speakon cable is £18 in G4M - I'm sure I can be cheaper than that! Picture is for illustrative purposes!
