P-Ray? Stingision? Not a clue. Now with video!
MartinB replied to fretmeister's topic in Bass Guitars
What I sent to Brian was the original plate with a piece of cardboard attached: So if he kept a copy of the final template he used, then you might be in luck. I'll PM you some details and you can ask him. -

You destroyed all my childhood memories by demonstrating they were actually made of MDF. Pah. Thanks Frank. 😞 -

Thinking from the perspective of smaller venues where lots of room modes and reflective surfaces can interact in a relatively small space... I've never found that settings on individual channels transfer all that well from one venue to the next even when eq-ing the room. It's a very useful starting point, but since the room effects have position-dependent components with respect to individual instruments, and a lot of musicians adapt how they play to the room, some further tweaking of the individual channels always seems to be necessary.

In my defence, poor though it is, once he's finally in bed my desire to do anything but collapse isn't there. Also, the workshop is under his bedroom and banging about with chisels will cause no end of ructions. Also, sorry Tauzie 😉

Nick Grimshaw BBC 6music Monday 1st December 2025 7 - 10am He's promising some bass centric content for the morning show. I have no idea at what point it features but I understand you can rewind the digital player using something odd called a smart speaker. I say odd because there are more microphones than actual speakers in those devices. It's possible that Lauren Laverne will pick that theme up for her six of the best piece in the show that follows between 10am and 1pm. -

I know nothing of this stuff. But Brave plays YT with no adverts. This is a good reason to use it, if for no other reason.

Cort space 5 and the fluctuating prices …
Sean replied to RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE's topic in General Discussion
The Germans have a green one B Stock for £619 https://www.thomann.co.uk/cort_artisan_space_5_sdg_b_stock.htm They also have "A Stock" at £675 but you'll have to wait a week or so. Free shipping! Great deal. I got labelled as "entitled" when I expected free shipping on a £700 spend earlier in the year. If I hadn't just landed a "rescue" bass, I'd buy one just to see. I played one and thought it was a lot of bass for the money. -
