  2. Is there a separate driver you need to download from Behringer? I seem to recall a specific driver is required.
  3. If Pete way played jazz… nice job ! Well worth it if you have a fretted one already . Glwts
  4. Apple stuff is pretty good at seeing audio sources but if you’re not using an (overpriced) Apple cable then there’s a good chance it just won’t play.
  5. Just to be clear the price I am asking is £3000. That being said I am sure anyone who might have an interest in a Bass of this quality and condition would drop me a message to negotiate.
  6. I'm leaning towards the getting the XS-100 for its ease of use, presets and built-in expression pedal and have just realised I'm still within the 30 day exchange period at Andertons. It is pricey, but the octave up is an unexpected boon on the pedal and in a 4 piece outfit with just one guitar as the other instrument, I can see this getting quite a lot of use to fill out the sound when the guitarist is soloing.
  7. And mine's full-colour 🙂
  8. Has anyone tried cobalt flats on a mustang bass? I've recently put a set of short scale cobalt flats on a PJ player mustang and I like them a lot. This 30" set fitted perfectly as the bridge is a toploader. Also I use the 2815 set: 40-60-70-95 on my thunderbirds, a precision and my rickenbacker. If EB made a 32" scale set I'd get a set to try on one of my JMJs, however as they don't make a suitable set, I would need to use a long scale set. I'm very wary of the excessive bending on the wound part causing trouble, but I had been worried about using any long scale flats on a short scale bass until I saw that Fender factory fitted their own long scale flats on the JMJ as standard. Has anyone already tried using long scale cobalt flats on a string-thru mustang? If I do try this I'll probably put a new set on one of my thunderbirds and reuse the old set on the mustang so I don't wreck a new set of £40+ strings.
  9. Apologies if this is the wrong forum for the topic but here goes. I’m tasked with recording band gigs after our guitarist left the band. He was successful in recording from the XR18 to his laptop so I know the routing is all set up on the XR18 i’ll be using an iPad Pro and I downloaded Cubasis 3 and attempted to set everything up but I can’t get Cubasis to see the XR18. I suspect it’s the cabling and I’ve used an adapter I picked up on eBay. Maybe I need something else. is there someone out there who can help me ? - someone that has the same set up Thanks in advance
  10. Hi folks, for sale is my awesome Fender Custom Shop Jaco Pastorius from 2024. I have to thin out the herd and that‘s why I want to sell some basses. After years of buying, selling and trading it‘s time to "settle down" with just a 2 or 3 basses. This bass is in very good condition, purrs like a kitten and can sing like a bird! Wasn't played that much. Some tiny signs of wear on the fretboard. Electronics and truss-rod work with no issues. Comes with the original case and all the candies. Pick up is preferred, but maybe I can shipping to buyer's expense and risks. Maybe we can meet in person somewhere on half distance. If you need more pictures let me know. No warranty, no return and no guarantee because I am a private seller. But all informations is provided to the best of my knowledge and belief. I am open to trades, but there are only a few basses that I am interested in. Maybe Adamovic 6 String, Mattison; Ken Smith BSR 6 String, but you can try to lead my into temptation. (In case of trading we have to meet in person, no shipping!) Price is 4100 Euro.

  11. I recently bought an amp I wanted, and I wasn't able to buy the amp without this cab. So here it is. Gallien-Krueger MBE 212/4. 600w, 4 ohms, nice and light at around 15kg. Has the same drivers as the NEO range. Sounds great. Collection preferred from Morecambe, but will meet at a reasonable distance if you want it. Rob
  12. Yea it’s still for sale. Sent you a personal message.
  13. Does it have an Midi capability to allow it to do that? <looks> Oh how irritating is that. No it doesn't have midi to change that, but the XS-100 does! I think the XS-100 is out of my range, currently too expensive but probably more significantly too big to put on a board!
  14. Selling my cream Avantone Active Mixcube studio monitor. It’s in great condition, hardly used and has only been in my smoke-free home studio. Works perfectly. These are perfect for checking your work to see how things translate to real-life consumer devices. Also helpful for spotting issues in the mix or production earlier. Great tools overall! Includes: Original box Power cable Only selling because I’m changing my setup. Shipping: Free postage – I’ll pack it properly in the original box and send it quickly. Collection is also totally fine if you're local.
  15. Reality. Some of the best songs ever written have come from songwriting partnerships.

  17. Obvs not a real band then To be fair my band/our band is the same. All very grown up, mind you we are in our late 50's early 60s for the most part so can't really be arsed to argue. Most debate is about who's turn it is to bring the beer.
  18. Ah OK, love the tone on that - I have a super light TM4 with old flats to tone down the bright tone.
  19. Due to a terrible misunderstanding with autocorrect...
  20. Great basses, I sold mine on here a couple of years ago, as we stopped doing anything after Covid. I have to say I really miss it, a real joy to play!
  21. I saw the Extension band with Kevin Eubanks, Steve Coleman and Marvin Smith at Bath but I have also seen DH with Kenny Wheeler Large Ensemble (Cardiff), the Metheny/Hancock/DeJohnette band London), the Metheny/Haynes Trio (Brecon) and with an orchestra (London, I think)! Basically, if he is 'in town', I will try to get to there. More Holland transcriptions to come.
  22. Solo bass improvisations, recorded through my "amp-less" setup directly into my Zoom H4n handheld recorder, and only edited through a simple Wav editor.
  23. I used to use one when I was into carrying stuff around. It was certainly shifting the air at the top of the Matterhorn. I used it under an SRM450 as my backline. It was totally innapropriate and I am sure the people at the other end of the room were getting more LF than they wanted. But I had a lovely time
  24. This must go. Sensible offers accepted!
