  2. Fantastic! Looks like a great gig.
  3. I’m just looking now but don’t think it’s there
  4. Well..it sounds great!
  5. Let them frown I say...
  6. I hope you survive the gig. Get well Last weekend when we played in 100° heat I sat down during 2 songs. It didn't seem like a big deal at the time, but when I saw some video it was not a good look for the band. Daryl

  8. My open mic was cancelled as the pub changed hands the hostess didn’t post that it was on, but often doesn’t as she has a fairly loyal following, so I went anyway two very drunk regulars told me I was “out of luck for playing my guitar”. 🤮 When I’d finished beating them both around the head with a sire v7….
  9. The track they played on 6 Music sounded great. Couldn't find it on iPlayer 😟
  10. Biffy Clyro on the Pyramid stage, not sure why The 1975 are on after them, seems the wrong way round.
  11. Pbass shape, nordy pickups, jazz bass spacing(ish). Antique white finish. Damn this might be my dream bass. 😳
  12. Good luck. I was watching it on the iPlayer when it cut out, when I re-started it the band previous to them was still on but they appeared to have been cut out!

  14. I'm using Timetree but most of the musos I play with are technophobes so actually it's only me using it. I've had problems with shared Google calendars, because of course you have to log out of your own Google account in order to access them. At least, that's how it used to work.
  15. Can’t believe this is still here. Can’t believe that no one in your home country has snapped this up. I hope it sells soon. If this was here, I’d have bought this months ago. GLWTS.
  16. It seems like in some circles playing with a pick is frowned upon. As a teen I was " all in " with finger playing. I switched to playing with a pick about 25 years ago. For no reason other than the type of grooves and riffs I play are easier to execute with a pick. Daryl
  17. Thanks Frank I’ll check that out, I didn’t know they were playing
  18. Nearly a year ago my brother, and our singer, suffered a stroke live on stage at a festival. For a while we wondered if we'd ever get to play a gig again. Luckily, that chance came last friday! A filmmaker friend brought his camera along, and I arranged to record the set. We put together someof the footage and mixed a brand new song that we played. It was the hottest day ever, but in my 20 years of being in this band, it's the gig I'm most glad to have been able to do, and I know this video will be something to look back at and cherish as long as I live. Hope you enjoy!

  19. First live performance done last friday! Here's a live track video (although most shots are non-synced and taken from other songs in the set). It's also a good example of the type/size of gig an Ampeg PF20T can handle 😉 It was a particularly poignant gig for us as my brother (the lead singer) had a stroke last year, so for a while we were wondering if we'd ever get to play another show together (the drummer is my other brother)
  20. I've found this stereo Radial JDI passive stereo DI available. Would that noticeably improve my active bass & Moog Little Phatty's live sound instead of using my HX Stomp's balanced outs? I know Stomp has pretty damn good outs already. If's it will give like 10% margin difference tops, I don't wanna bother. I play lots of live and I'm always afraid running Stomp's DI to get Phantom power fed and Stomp fried.. Thank you.
  21. I've gone ahead and whacked it on Klarna. Couldn't resist. Can anyone recommend which (preferably free) apps they use?
  22. Wild One - Billy Idol
  23. All that is actually pretty true.
  24. Missed out on one of these on EBay a few months ago. Stunning looking instruments. Congrats!
  25. Dont try this at home kids
  26. I've just caught a moment or two of Glasto25, seems to be the usual mix of soft rock and 'music to die by' - still the crowd seem to like it and what is this thing for shooting lights into the face of the audience ? A lot of so-called DJs do it, so I suppose old age has finally caught up - more wobble from me soon/possibly .............. 😎
