  2. For sale, recently purchased on here, Elektron Digitone synth module, selling at the price I paid, in great condition. Reason for sale, too complicated for my aging, feeble mind. This is what Elektron say about the Digitone. The Digitone provides a simplified and revitalized take on FM synthesis and a prime source of new sounds and timbres. Digitone makes use of a combination of FM sound generation and subtractive synthesis across four synth tracks letting you easily dive from jagged chaos to mellow soundscapes. Pick your algorithm and uncover rich and musical sounds of a crystalline, electric, or metallic nature. £295

  3. What a bass here.... looks amaizing,I bet sounds fantastic. 🤩
  4. Yep, I agree... I found his phrasing is more lyrical.
  5. I see a lot of high-end German motors rocking the primer grey look these days. I can't work out how that marketing worked. May as well bring back British Leyland's mustard yellow and rust brown shades...
  6. Am gigging in Colchester Friday. Could be interested.
  7. Yeah, I like that aesthetic - either low-key and show off the wood or go full on Glam!
  8. I don't see an irony, if they are doing what you want thats fine, it is your choice.

  11. Hi Gregor, If a potential buyer contacts you by private message are you going to provide the photographs and info that is being suggested in previous posts. It may help if you can give this assurance.
  12. The Sterling swap is still on offer, and am relatively local...
  13. Frank kindly bought a P Bass from me. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with & comes highly recommended to all BC’ers👍👍 Thanks again Frank.
  14. Get Out Of My House - Kate Bush
  15. My Chinese Ebay roasted maple neck on my parts bass. Gave it several light coats of Rustins Danish Oil & she's sweet as!
  16. I find the irony of this situation is that I’m arguing against a sound man telling bassists to do this yet it’s actually now my preferred way of gigging.
  17. Some developers near where I live have had a planning application to build houses accepted where the directly adjacent neighbour is the shooting club. Next to the chaps firing rifles (and not just .22) there are the Rugby and football clubs. I suspect there will be a few noise complaints once those houses are built. Before moving I took a few late walks through the area and asked locals; the conclusion was that it was a quiet area. What I didn't discover was the plans to build a hotel nearby, with my street being on the quickest route back for hotel guests who've been trying the local pubs. New windows have dealt with most of the nuisance from that.
  18. Planning to attend this year. Gear Fender Imp combo, Fender Mike Kerr Jaguar, Fender Stu Hamm Urge 1, HB ThunderStang, Squier Paranormal Rascal, Mark Bass Bronco ( very yellow), Ashdown Capri ( very Pink) PS I will leave it to Admin to add me to the list🤪
  19. what I wrote concerned: Steve Browning He seems (from his edit) to be irritated by the criticism (that is intended to help him). Given the lack of the anti-scam evidence, and his reluctance to provide simple information, it may be that he does't actually even own this bass. Just saying.
  20. Let's Storm The Capitol - BOKASSA
  21. Just my opinion gregor, with vintage instruments some people like to study all the usual stamps, codes and internal pics before they make an enquiry, I myself like to see these, I think you may stand more chance of selling, anyway good luck with your sale, it looks great
  22. Hi Itu, Thanks for the comment, hope you're keeping well. It seems that the phantom paint chipper strikes again!!!
  23. Fairly well-known that John Entwistle suffered for decades at the hands (and ears?) of live 'soundmen', producers and engineers. Many ripped the top and middle out of what he was trying to do back in the day. Fully get your response @Wolverinebass.
  24. If SH is an option, Charvel San Dimas Pro Mod basses have a lovely "jazz bass on ozempic" neck. Some people experienced some noise from the electronics and made a lot of noise about it. I've had a couple, one-early, one later and neither had any noise issues. As a second-hand buy, I think they are excellent value.
