Lozz196 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Looks like a bass that Mr Soft from the Steve Harley/Cockney Rebel song would play. 2 Quote
velvetkevorkian Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago (edited) Paging Mr Dali to the front desk please, you seem to have lost something. NGL I kind of love it. edit: not enough to pay £1899 for it though Edited 22 hours ago by velvetkevorkian 2 2 Quote
Owen Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Those are superb. I have eyed them from afar for years. Quote
Sean Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago I've played one of the Stratocasters and it was a very nice guitar to play. Quote

I played in a band with a chap that owned one and he had a Fender Strat sprayed to match. He'd play the first set with the Fender and then switch to the Bender later on. I think as many as 10 audience members noticed the switch over the years. 1 Quote

ossyrocks Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I've known Brian for decades and remember seeing these in his workshop when he used to build them. A lot of thought went into the design and build of these in order from them to play well and actually intonate. He built other wacky designs too, including a Moon guitar/bass. Rob 3 Quote
80Hz Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I dig it - it looks like it's dancing!! I can also appreciate the mad skill that went into building it - I mean look at the way the neck starts to deviate around the 15th fret, then the pocket joins the body at an angle.. nuts I'm trying to imagine the genre of music most appropriate for this bass.. 1 Quote

RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I like that ..but not in sunburst ! If it were about £800 max and in yellow , orange or green I’d have to track one down . I remember roughly around 15-20 years ago this design and the cheese bass / guitars were mentioned in a bass guitar magazine . Inflation and rarity has pushed the price up somewhat . Quote
BigRedX Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago This, or the Bas Extravaganza Punk Bass would be the instrument I would want to bring to any gig where I was told to use a Precision. Quote
