Anyone on here sell good quality (unused) cables, I suspect my gig cables are in need of replacement.

Cheers.
OBBM seems to be the man - plenty of happy customers on here. Do a search.

I make my own, but I respect the fact that a) he doesn't constantly spam the list to flog his products and :) doesn't slag off the competition at the drop of a hat. Because I make my own, I can tell you that he uses the best quality parts.

It's the unfortunate smiley code for sunglasses - B ) - but the lowercase also triggers it b ) which to me is a monacle or Leela's sunglasses

Back on topic - OBBM :)

When Mr Lager says 'Monster speaker cables' he is not recommending Monster (tm) speaker cables! (If you want to dispose of that much money then buy an OBBM cable and give the rest to charity rather than a litigious Monster of a company). :)

"One of the other factors that will have an influence on sound quality is the quality of copper the cable is constructed from. Standard copper, found in household wiring and many budget audio cables, is known as tough pitch copper. This contains 500 to 750 parts per million of oxygen and this will cause the copper to oxidise."
Oh dear. At least they didn't mention skin effect.

It did seem so, but after a free trial on a gig - get a gig at The Cricketers' Arms in Keighley and talk to Neil of The Den.. http://www.thedenkeighley.co.uk/ - the effect on the sound of the whole band was very surprising! That line-up, Euclid Avenue, is now fully kitted out with Cream, as is Crosscut Saw http://www.crosscutsaw.co.uk
Now the only time I don't carry them is when I'm really not going to be in any control. Can't have any T,D and H trampling them. :)
Nice colour too!
We can spend a couple of grand on a bass, then hundreds (or more) on an amp...

OBBM Cables are great I prefer them over Lava and Planet Waves and his instrument leads are actually cheaper than either.

Just had him do me an X2 wireless cable, Series speaker lead and a 30ft Instrument lead.

I've been using a custom pedalsnake he made for me for over 3 years now and it's still flawless.

Also getting your cables in colours from him helps identify them when thieves strike at gigs.
