Next gig for me is with my old band Knock Off, Sat 26 July at The Hope & Anchor, Islington, supporting GBH.

 

Am expecting a rather hot sweaty evening, which as they say is good if you`re with a woman, bad if you`re in the jungle.

Two gigs this weekend. Still not 100% but improved enough today I think I'll be OK. 

 

 

One on Barry Island. I only went to the original Beir Keller once, to see Nik Turner's All-Stars. I remember at the end everyone ran to the bar for a last beer... leaving me standing alone with Nik, and we had a brief chat. It's been resurrected after 40 years! They have private parking for load in!

 

Edmondes, I've only seen from the outside but Facebook suggests it is very dancy.

Update to the Pride gig on Saturday 26th July:

 

 

We're now on at 3.30pm.

The Rebbels are playing a pub Festival at the Swan in Stalbridge, near Sturminster Newton, Dorset. We played the pub last year and were invited back for the Festival. We were expecting a full FoH and sound tech but it appears there are two bands on two stages and we need to use our own PA. We are not even on the poster !

Heh, the Talbot! We used to go there as teenagers because they weren't too fussy about asking for ID 😁

Thanks Martin - those were the days. I was doing similar in the late 80s Marlborough / Pewsey.

Next gig for Hurtsfall is Twisted Firestarter at Rebellion in Manchester on 14th August.

 

 

This is the Infest warm-up party and in previous years has been extremely popular. 

 

I played last year's event with my other band and there were still people queuing to get in after the first band had finished playing, so if you are going to this and hope to see us play I suggest that you get to the venue  before the doors open.
