Defo
Some of you may me remember me posting in years past about my yearly allowed bass purchase, well it's that time again. Budget up to £1200, you can see what I have to date in my signature. Thinking about a precision type (but not a Fender) or a fretless, or anything else that you can come up with. Thanks Andy
lownote
Only once a year - that's deprivation! I've done 26 basses in 6 years. Suggestions: Sire V7 fretless, Moollon Classic P Edited February 19, 2017 by lownote12
Lozz196
Precision type but not Fender says Lakland to me.
TheGreek
No ACG in your collection? Try one and then don't buy it....bet you can't...
Harryburke14
I'd wait to see what the Sire PJs are like when they come out, as I'm sure we can all testify for Sires VFM.
Defo
Any thoughts on a Yamaha BB1024X?
Cuzzie
Precision type say G&L LB100 for a more vintage vibe, more modern go to SB-1, PJ go for an SB-2. If you like a tele body get a G&L ASAT, you get close to a P sound with the neck pick up. I have a solid and a semi hollow one, they are fantastic
gary mac
If wanted a non Fender precision, it would have to be G&L, either an SB1 or LB100 Enjoy your spend.
fftc
For me it would be this. http://greatbritishbasslounge.com/product/gl-lb-100/
chris_b
I don't understand the phrase "yearly allowed"! Looking at the gear in your sig I don't think you need any more gear. Even though it's "that time of the year"!!
Cuzzie
Don't forget to look on TB at basses for sale across the water. I got 1 of my G&Ls from there and including shipping and taxes it was still cheaper than if it was over here

Happy Jack
OK, now we've got that sorted, can we make a decision on the degree of relic'ing he's allowed this year?
