Now on ebay http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1555.l2649

BC price is £750 plus shipping, or you can pick it up or I can drop it to you if you are close to London. I need a quick sale now as there's a Jazz on here I'm after. I won't be lowering the price any more.

It does not look bling, it looks classy, I have had some really nice comments about it at gigs, from girls, guys and bassists :D

It balances and plays beautifully and has the sculpted concave Streamer body which is incredibly comfortable. It weighs 9lb dead. Comes with a Warwick Rockbag Premium and the truss rod tool.

The Streamer CT is in excellent condition except for a few little marks on the side and back, and a bit of chrome missing on the edge of the headstock (shown in the pics). However, the durability of the finish should be evident in the photos. This bass is 9 years old and the finish is still amazing. The front is pretty much perfect. It's stock except for an upgrade to the beautiful (and f***ing expensive at £90!) brass JANIII.

The neck is truly lovely to play, the frets are in ace nick, the gorgeous ebony board is like silk with a lovely sheen to it and absolutely clean. The neck is Jazz-like, the profile is D around the nut so a little thicker than your recent Fender Jazzes. The neck and board is regularly waxed and oiled with no marks on it whatsoever and it feels silky and extremely comfy.

It has MEC gold pups, J/RP, active MEC circuitry with bypass, Vol/Pan/Hi/Lo. 1x9v.

It's immensely versatile, glassy highs and lows bigger than Beyonce's leg.

All the specs are here http://www.warwick.d...tID=14489&cl=EN

I seem to remember you putting a Warwick up for sale before and regretting it... or did I dream it? ;)
I must add my voice to the general dissent! How often do these come up if you want another?

 I'm not having a breakdown, honest :D

I have had 3 Precisions and 2 Jazzes, I do love Fender, and I just fancy a change. Obviously I'm looking for a life bass, and with the price of new Fenders being very low at the moment, I'm happy to give it a shot. I do know what you mean though, but really, it's only a bass, I think ;)

Got to say I'm totally staggered to see this ad Nige.

So it really is true, the P bass gets us all in the end :) .

I know that I'm probably further away than Jack but if you want a trip up to Mac towers to try out my P basses you are very welcome.

Thanks G, and Jack. My plan is to go to Guitar Guitar and try a bunch of them out. Liking the USA Special, or a USA Standard. I still have my home made Electra with a nice German Warwick neck. Just need to take it to the Gallery and get the guts and neck fitted. It's a great bass so I'm not worried :)

Nigel, cracking bass, insanely good price. My only thing is that I too think you should be keeping it, there are more than a few nice Japanese Fenders knocking around in the FS section for really great prices, maybe pick up something a little cheaper and refer back to the Chrome as and when you fancy it.

Possibly the best thing I've ever read!

I have played this very bass, as it belonged to a bass chatter who is a good friend of mine. It plays amazingly well, a sound to absolutely kill for! And it looks much much MUCH better in the flesh, the pictures don't do it any justice. I wish I had the money!
