1.
Sorry, my error..
Good good, just checking! Good luck with the sale
2. Nice bass, but why is there a random photo of a Maple fretboard in there?
3. Enquired....can't seem to find anything about an SVT300 cab. Anyone else got a better guess as to what model it is? EDIT: My guess is it's an SVT210HE. Happy to be proven wrong though
4. Just as well I have no where near enough cash as I'm near Dundee too! Would love to play one to see what the top end of Yamaha is like
5. For Curveball Covers you could do worse than look at older versions of Radio 1's Live Lounge Albums (Volume 1 - 2006 and Volume 2 - 2007) They have some bands doing some fun covers.
6.
Ooh - maybe some clearance bargains to be had on NOS 1025 models etc?
Yup, pretty sure GuitarGuitar and others have already been discounting stock. GG have the 1025x at £599 if that's cheap enough for you?
7. Shame there isn't a 5er with a maple board.... Still think they look great, hope the pickups are as good as the old ones! Bass Direct just posted a photo of one in the flesh and I'm digging the white with black headstock
8.
Admittedly, I want the couch more than the bass!
Maybe you'll get it as part of a loyalty scheme one day!
9. Just wondering if anyone has seen/heard/tried one of the new Richter range yet?
10. Buy now, Pay later.....Hmmmmmmm. *Must stay strong, must stay strong*
11. Here: http://www.originalscratchplates.com/
12. OooooOOoooo very interesting. Now just to find a shop that stocks one
13. That's a stupid price! Best of luck to whoever snatches that up.
14. I've never played a Sandberg, but this thread is making me want one and from this video, the Forty Eight is the one for me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzyIPUVZ8u4 One day.....
15. For me, a Line6 Studio 110. Was looking for a small practice amp in any state to stick a new speaker I had in to make it a practice cab. Guy got in touch said he had an old Studio 110 that wasn't working, Line 6 had given him a replacement so this was taking up space so if I pay postage (Ok, not strictly free but close enough ). Turns up at my door and seems to work perfectly! So basically an amp for free!

17. Get in touch with Alan at Synergy http://www.synergydi...k/Sandberg.html He does Phil Jones and Sandberg in the UK and he could not have been any more helpful when I had issues with my amp. Can't recommend him enough!
18. Maybe hit up this man right here http://basschat.co.uk/topic/307248-fs-eb-music-man-stingray-5/
19. This is a good shout
There's always folk selling flats they didn't like on the "other items" forum, just pick some up from there and try them for peanuts.
I got some Ken Smith Slicks the other for £10 as I also have never used flats/halfs and wanted to dip my toe in the less harsh waters. It's difficult to justify £30+ if you aren't sure you'll like them isn't it.
20. Sorry, got a response earlier today. "The guitar is a custom shop and it is how it was ordered. Hope that helps. If you check the serial number on the back of the headstock you can see it corresponds with the age of the guitar." And he's right, the serial number does match the Sandberg system and the headstock is the right shape. Seems legit as far as the usual checks go.
21.
I did wonder about the bass... always one of the most tricky parts to mix, IMO. It actually sounded on the verge of being too prominent on my monitors, so I probably need to start double-checking my mixes on a few more systems to be sure (I use to check everything on monitors, hi fi speakers, multiple headphones, car stereo, laptop speakers, etc, but gave up because it was becoming all consuming. Might revisit some of those methods, however).
I agree it is a touch low on my semi-decent in-ear earphones. I can see your point of there being too many devices to check on these days. I reckon you would be fine with a check on monitors, headphones and probably a phone speaker, would cover most circumstances that people listen to music on (but you obviously know more than me so that's just my 2 cents ). Great work though! Keep it up.
22.
Red now!
and now I have this one! (I think) I bought it a couple of months ago and vaguely remember the guy saying that it used to be painted (Back to original state now) and that there was a thread on Basschat about it. Will post pictures later. Reassuring to see the neck joint sitting proud here too as I couldn't get it to sit flush. Lovely little bass for very little money!
23. https://www.gumtree.com/p/guitar-instrument/sandberg-custom-shop-california-5-bass-guitar./1247826648 Back up, there's a picture of the serial number on the back of the headstock and it matches the date in his advert. I've just sent him a question about the lack of logo and movement of jack socket.....
24. Thundercat, Michael McDonald and Kenny Logins on The Tonight Show - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8AgdI4eyFc Great to see bass players getting primetime slots!
25.
If you're after a plastic/acrylic ramp you might want to contact Bertbass of this manor. He works with plastic and acrylic producing, amongst other things, acrylic illumination headstocks of your choice... http://basschat.co.uk/topic/283298-fender-gibson-warwick-and-other-headstocks-illuminated-acrylic/
Ta for that. Will hit him up and see what he can do. Might have to settle for wood as they seem more readily available!
